Great central location. Chilled and relaxing.

The inn is situated in a quiet neighborhood surrounded with many other inns. There was no street light at night, which makes the place special but difficult to navigate. The inn was a little bit dated but functional. I stayed in a room with fire place. The fire place worked great.

Affordable and spacious for our family. It's a bit dated, but everything was clean. Easy walk to the main shopping/dining area. Parking right behind the inn.

Spartan. Not quaint. Not cute. Not comfortable. Just spartan. The place smells like my great-grandparents’ cellar. Very old and not well kept. Quite rundown. Few amenities—not even water glasses. So bring a water bottle. And if you have Invisalign trays or dentures to clean, bring your own water glass. There were a few little soaps—that’s it. The parking is inadequate. When I checked in and asked the proprietor where to park if the lot was full, which it was, he gave some euphemistic term for parking on the street. But the street was full. When I said, “So the website saying there is parking is false,” he said, “Enjoy your stay,” and when I started to say more, he said that again. He was just a total prick. There are many other places to stay in this town, and all of them have to be better than this. Avoid it at all cost.

The room seriously needs some work. The bathroom window didn't close all the way, so the lock didn't work - not safe and also let in cold air. No heat in the room - manager said there was a portable heater but there wasn't. Hot water didn't really work in the shower. Cobwebs on the walls and ceiling. No stopper in the sink. Bathroom fan didn't work and was covered in thick dust. Also the room was tiny. Manager did give me a partial refund due to the poor condition.

This place is really tired.

I came here with my mom and we stayed for 2 nights. It was a cute small and old inn. We appreciated how quiet it was and how close to everything it was. We understood its old so we werent expecting anything grand. The parking could be alot bigger or the city could invest in a big parking center for everyone staying at inns because the inns are back to back but the parking is limited. Also one thing we didnt really understand is when we asked for coffee on monday morning we were told mondays they dont serve coffee. Its a hotel lol how do u not serve coffee ? Other then that we did like our stay and plan on returning in the future.

Great location. . . close to downtown Carmel. Definitely a budget place. . .you get what you pay for. Ice is only available from 8am - 4pm. Plan accordingly. Furniture doesn't really fit in room. We got a king bed room. Nightstands were turned sideways (couldn't access drawers, etc.) because they otherwise wouldn't fit. Towel rack in bathroom literally was mounted across the only bathroom electrical outlet. Window shutters were broken. Website says that breakfast is included. . . but due to Covid, it is not. (Update the website perhaps? It's been over 8 months. Make some brown bag breakfasts, as I have received in other places, with fruit, yogurt, etc ? Lots of options. )

Upon check in with a confirmation number in hand, and acknowledgment from the hotel that there was indeed a reservation they informed us they had no rooms. We had to go to another hotel for our stay at another 230.00 cost to us. Upon filing a dispute with Orbitz the hotel denied a refund. This is unacceptable and I even bought trip insurance. I would not stay here ever again and if you are planning too and you have a confirmed reservation please call the hotel first and confirm they actually do have a room. Also, another thing the pictures are kind of deceiving as the rooms are basically a crackerbox with about 2.5 feet between the walls and the bed. Can't even navigate a suitcase through the space. We only know this because we looked at our room when the door was open for housekeeping. Terrible management to deny a refund I had to escalate it to Orbitz and my CC company.

The location was good. The property is very basic. There are stairs to go up if you room in on 2nd floor. Since it was raining when I went, I had to walk carefully on the wooden wet floors. Would have liked a coffee maker in the room. However room was nice and big. Had some problems with opening and closing the door to my room. There were people talking loudly outside which sounded loud in the room. It happened only one night and I stayed 2 nights.

Very nice owners. Perfect location. Large rooms. Decent enough continental breakfast. Building is very run down. Had room with fireplace that did not work. You get what you pay for in carmel.

The weather was very warm and there was only 1 fan in the 2 room suite. There were no screened windows to open so out room was very hot. The rooms were large and comfortable. It was very nice having the 4 full bathrooms for 4 adults,

The property was shabby! It has the potential of being a very nice place, but needs a LOT of work. The rooms were dirty, the screens on the windows were caked with dust, the shower was filthy. There was dust on the furniture and the bed. the doors stuck, the window shutters were broken and the heater didn't work. I would NOT recommend this place to anyone!!
