I really enjoyed staying here while visiting Carmel. I did not make it to breakfast so I won’t be able to tell how that was but the rooms are nice , spacious, clean and pretty quiet after 10pm. I will definitely return. Thanks
Quaint and perfect. Old with amazing character. We love these places. Highly recommend unless your looking for high rise type major hotel. Great job Carmel is amazing and this place is exactly what we expected
Very nice stay for our weekend getaway. 15 minute walk down to the ocean, downtown, with plenty of dining options. The room was large, overlooking the pool, and the bed was extremely comfortable. I would stay here again and would highly recommend Carmel Bay view inn.
This place blew my mind. The deluxe ocean view room had a surprising pretty view of the ocean. The room was modern and the gas fireplace was a great touch. The hotel is in a perfect location. Easy walking to everywhere. We will definitely be staying here again.

The room was nice, clean and spacious. The location is great. Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on Ocean Ave in Carmel. The guy at the front desk was also very friendly too. Great service.
Such a cute little spot! Literally 3 min walk (if that) from Kate Spade store and more shopping! I felt super safe and the room was nice! Super clean and comfy. Cons, the parking lot isn’t too big and you’ll have to park on the street if it’s full. Our fire alarm did go off for a few minutes and then stopped. I was concerned it was the carbon monoxide alarm but it never went off again. The shower water is either super hot or really cold no I’m between. But everything else was amazing. We’d stay again for sure!
Convenient location, very close to wide selection of restaurants. Easy and lots of parking on premise. Friendly staff.
Loved having the fireplace but definitely needed more blankets since we didn't have the heat on at night. Also, would have been great to have access to a microwave somewhere if not in room.
Very nice location for visiting the Carmel downtown — everything, shops, restaurants, wine tasting, art galleries, are only steps away. My room had the extra amenities of a balcony with a view of the Pacific Ocean, and a gas-logs fireplace, nice touches. Room decor was OK and bathroom was very clean with shower doors instead of curtains. Only disappointments were the lack of anything but a very minimal “grab and go” breakfast, and the lack of any glassware (glass cups in bathroom, coffee mugs, wine glasses) in the room. Restoring these features would be first on my list to elevate the room firmly out of the “motel” category to the next level.
