Good location , new unit but....
We unfortunately arrived on a day the city had a huge thunderstorm with heavy rain which damaged the majority of the units . This was no fault of the owner and they were quick to respond as best they could all considered . Water was coming in the laundry room through the lighting fixture and damage was done to the main bathroom ceiling which they covered in masking tape as a temporary fix. The exterior wall in the courtyard was also damaged and continuously leaked water the entire stay making it not very useful to us.
The unit is nice but could use better cleaning as the floors are dirty to the point our feet and socks got dirty from wearing them inside. There are cleaning supplies aval so we cleaned up the unit and wiped down all the oily areas on the counters ,stove and cabinets ..not a big deal but expected a bit more being it was fairly new . Its not the owners fault but more the cleaners they hired . The unit does not have cable TV but you can only watch you tube .... it does have netflicks aval if you have an account
The development is under construction and while we were there they started pile driving most mornings at 8 am and it's a bit loud even though we were told by the owner and the assistant ,that looks after the place, you cant hear it ...it will definately wake you up and you will hear it throughout the day and from what I can it's only going to get worse as they are only just starting . We had problems with water as well. 1 night there was no water pressure and I'm assuming they shut it off doing repairs to other units and most days water pressure varied from very low to very high . We noticed a black substance on the shower rain head...it may have been mould but we cleaned it off . This happens when inexpensive rain heads are used made from lesser grade materials
The owner is caring and did her best to try and correct any issues right away .The unit is close to everything and you dont need a car .Walmart is a $10-12 cab fare away .Most dance clubs are across the street and best one we went to was aree mango which is where all the locals go and it's a mix of salsa and club music and drinks are cheap . The other clubs were mostly a RIP off demanding that if you want a seat you need to pay for bottle service
I would have rated it a 5 but due to the construction presently under way it's a 4 because you will need to live with the construction noise for some time to come as it's a big project just starting
