This room reminded me of a tiny cubicle you’d find in a foreign country! TINY, TINY, TINY!!!! Only me or my husband could walk around it at one time! The other person had to stay on the bed! Sorry, but I don’t care to use the bathroom facilities w/ my spouse right there w/ me!!! This was by far, the WORST experience I’ve had w/ a hotel room! On the upside - had a fabulous server, Lina, at the Sportsbar. The concierge upon check-in & the bartender both need refresher courses in hospitality! Both of them lacked the social graces! Hmm, would it fair to say I’ll NEVER stay here again??!!

We chose this hotel because it is "pet friendly" and was super close to the convention center. I wish they would have put us in an end room so our 15yr old dog wouldn't bother anyone because he was barking being in a new place and not with us because we had to go to the convention on that Saturday. Also not a lot of grassy area close by for our dog to do his business. Otherwise it is clean and the staff is friendly and was super conveniently close to the convention center.

Nonsensical pool chair policy

We typically stay at the Omni once a year when traveling back and forth to Boston. I’m not sure if this is the first time we’ve stayed there on the weekend, or if there have just been changes at the pool, but we were extremely disappointed with their pool chair reservation policy. Unbeknownst to us, you have to reserve a pool chair, and if you don’t, you aren’t allowed to use them until after 1:30pm, assuming you can even find an open one by that time. As a paying guest at a hotel who intentionally stays here so our kids can swim in the pool, this policy is ridiculous. When I asked the pool check-in attendant where we were supposed to put our towels and bags, I couldn’t believe that she responded “the ground”. When I briefly sat down on an empty chair so that I could put sunscreen on my daughter, a pool attendant ran over to tell me I couldn’t. The pool bar also isn’t a “pool” bar since they require you to get dressed before you can go inside and order food or drink. They did have a waitress taking orders at the pool, so this was extremely obnoxious having to get dressed to go inside to order a drink. Again, dumb policy for a bar called the “pool bar”. It’s a nice hotel, but be prepared if you plan to use the pool.
