I called the hotel number from the airport. It goes to an umbrella number. They assured me that there was a shuttle and gave me the direct number to the hotel. There was no shuttle. That was a HUGE issue at well after midnight.
Other issues included - the lock on the connecting door didn't work. The toilet was incredibly low. The was no elevator. The laundry room did not have a functioning washing machine. There was a strong marijuana smell every night. Something happened in the parking lot - shots were fired, police were on site.
The bed was fine. No bedbugs in my room, although some woman with kids loudly proclaimed that they were leaving because of bedbugs. There was a swimming pool. Breakfast was served. It was cheap. I was able to walk to the Conference Center next door, where I was attending. I did laundry at the Conference Center, where I also ate... and attended the Conference.
The whole not having a shuttle thing - that was a big deal. There were no taxi's. Lyft didn't show up after several attempts. I ended up paying a stranger to drive me to the hotel. I was lucky.
