This was a great location with many shops and restaurants to choose from. From walking down to see the scenic Aare River to marveling at the towns beautiful streets and sites. Everything was relatively close. The Bern train station was an approximate 8 minute walk as well. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Loved that breakfast was included and for the duration of your stay the local transit was also included. Highly recommend this hotel.

The room was small and basic but clean and had air conditioning, which was much appreciated given the heat while I was there. Getting to my room was a bit weird as I had to take the lift up one floor then go through the breakfast area and then take another lift up another four floors. The staff were polite but not overly friendly. They were slightly timid. The breakfast was outstanding, probably the highlight of my stay, along with the location. Very easy to get to and from the main train station and buses and shops and the river. Overall, a nice stay.

Nice hotel… sort of strange layout where the entrance to the room was at an angle with a large drop. If you are a plus sized person you should know the entrance to the shower and the shower itself is quite small. I’m a 2X and getting into the shower was… let’s say more exfoliating on my midsection than I’ve experienced before and I doubt anyone larger than me would be able fit at all.
