The location and staff are excellent, however the hotel is somewhat dated and lacks A/C,
The location in town was great. Easy walking to the sites nearby. Breakfast was a little so-so, and it was a little noisy at night, so opening the window for some fresh air would have made it worse.
For how expensive Switzerland can be, this was a lower priced but higher quality hotel. It is very modern and boasts a yummy restaurant. The staff was friendly and helpful. As some of the other reviews warn, the hotel is near several bars and they can be boisterous at night, but it wasn't so loud we couldn't sleep. The huge downside to this hotel -- and I can't stress this enough -- is that the room's bathroom is very weird. It's a yellow glass box in the corner of the room. It has everything you need, but it is not completely private or soundproof. You better be extra comfortable with your guest.
