We were offered room with double beds. Recieved two rooms each with bed so could not sleep in same room. Outside was noisy all night long with cars , people etc. Also on third floor and did not feel safre with the steps.

Beautiful old hotel!

Beautiful old hotel! Great ambiance! The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was one thing that I found odd. The shower was open in the bedroom with only a glass brick half wall separating it from the rest of the bedroom, and it was U shaped and open to the rooms hallway to the bathroom and door. This keeps the air from warming up so it is always cool while showering.

Great historic spot. Owner and staff are top shelf and super nice. Really enjoyed the pub downstairs and hearing all the history from the owner and staff.

Clean, quaint, quiet!

I stayed at the Chelsea for a brief two-night stay during a work trip. It's a cool place! Definitely more of an inn/b&b feel than your standard hotel. Really neat common areas, friendly staff, and well kept. I had a smaller queen room, which was adequate for one person, maybe tight for two. Room was clean and included a tv and fridge, though not a safe. The front desk provided earplugs, but I found the room to be quiet (though it was midweek in the off season - may be a different story at other times). Location is convenient, probably more so in season. A short walk to the boardwalk/beach,directly across from the Tropicana. The Pub was a nice little watering hole too. Decent food, friendly staff, reasonable prices. Overall, I'd recommend The Chelsea Inn!

It's a Gem!

This is a gem in Atlantic City. This is so much nicer than staying in just another room at one of the casinos. It's an older building with lots of style. Rooms were very clean, breakfest and parking included makes this such a value over the other overpriced options in AC

This was my husband and I first time staying at a bed and breakfast. The staff was excellent. Miss Shirley is awesome! Very welcoming and pleasant. When we walked into our room we smelled bleach, which instantly we knew meant the rooms were clean. We loved the throw back vibe the property presented. Very unique and different. We would definitely recommend the Chelsea for future stays in Atlantic City.

Historic Atlantic City Hotel

Very clean historic hotel one block off of the boardwalk. You can't beat the free parking and free breakfast. Would absolutely stay here again!

I totally love this gorgeous quirky place. So much more my style than a cheesy casino! Clean, friendly, interesting, and close to everything! A surprise around every corner! The breakfast was fantastic, we enjoyed dining on the patio.

A good last minute place and not a long stay type of hotel. Not the best area, very noisy and smelly outside and there were some weirdos but overall was a good stay.
