Our room was burglarized, we had bags stolen and a car key. House keeping only came on the third day and I am certain they were in on the theft. Security blamed us when we reported it. The Police were nicer and more understanding then the actual staff at this hotel. Check in was a mess, room wasn't ready even at 4pm. Bonkers management.

Never paid nearly $400 dollars a night for a place like this. Snell nasty from the parking elevator to the lobby and all the way to the room. Elevator is even nastier. Staffs are unfriendly when ask for something. Nothing like those pictures they posted. Gave our room up to someone else just because thinking we will not show up. Too many things to mention here…worse than a cheap motel

It was dull and the elevators were very old and scary. It looked haunted.

No room service. Never take care customer

The property is well maintained for a building that age is nice to see they take good care of it. The staff is friendly in general. No issues. The cleaning staff was very loud while performing their duties, yelling at the hallways but I don't think they do it on purpose. The elevators take a lot of time to arrive. The communication of events, times of operation and prices needs to be improved and specially the prices are not too in sync with the reality of the the property. I mean it have been a 5 star hotel back in its glorious days but now it is not the same anymore and the food price is like you're eating in top restaurant..

Close to the boardwalk large room

No service there at all and le day on the front desk was rude pool no look as in the pics rooms to small and the told me can make noise I ask for towels I never get it I will never come back to that hotel

Very clean and quiet. In walking distance to stores and a restaurant.

During a severe rainstorm over Mother's Day weekend, arrived needing to unload car, dispose of trash. Receptacles were full to overflowing, trash strewn about parking deck 5. Decent stay, way overpriced for the holiday Sat, but it was convenient to Boardwalk Hall for a Music Festival.

It was a beautiful historic building

Our safe did not work. They said that they would send someone up to fix it. They NEVER showed up. We stayed three nights and they NEVER came to clean out room. On the last night the people next door had their TV sooo loud that we could not sleep. My husband called the front desk several times to complain. After 1:00 am security finally showed up and knocked on their door. Nobody was in the room except for a dog (which are not allowed). Security side turn down the TV and we were finally able to go to sleep. This was not a pleasant stay at all

It looks like you are in a very regal hotel but the bed was uncomfortable.

Honestly I enjoyed my stay, I would definitely go back it’s just that we found a nail in the jetted tub

The pool area was unkept and freezing cold.

i love the claridge but there is a definite need for maintenance. the building is showing its age and need for some modernization. the ventilation system and vents need cleaning, the sign outside over the valet awning is ripped, bathroom sink fixtures need replacement/repair/tightening, elevators may need retrofit. carpets from the garage need replacement. the hotel can keep its charm while still fixing up some things.

This is our fourth year staying here during Christmas time. Overall stay was good. We were on the 14th floor. Room was clean. We had really hot water. Bed was comfortable. We come here in winter not only for the decent price, but also for their nice, warm pool. If you are looking to use the pool as well, be aware of this time change so your resort fee doesn't go to waste... the adult pool hours are now from 8pm to 10pm instead of 10pm 12am. Sadly, we did not know until after 10pm when we tried to go swimming. When I inquired about it to the desk I was told that it has been these hours for years. I said impossible because I've been coming here for 4 years in a row and it was always 10 to 12. Besides this little rant, we'll still go back next year and recommend the Claridge as a decent place to stay. Also, check out the Vüe on the 23rd floor! Great drinks and great views!
