The Claridge is a classic hotel. I love staying there, clean, beds are very comfortable. The only complaint are the slow elevators, especially when crowded, it feels like all of the elevators are not working.

The beach view was obstructed but it was a small walking distance from the hotel but we really didn't mind as the hotel provided a pool. The staff was awesome, very friendly and polite. The room was very clean and nice. Overall, a great place to stay.

This is among the last three historic hotels of pre-casino-gambling Atlantic City. As a building, it has ‘good bones’, the basis for some charm, and a well-done remodeling over a decade ago. But it’s showing wear and tear; the check-in staff is border-line scary; and the chambermaids failed to make our bed and delivered too few towels. I’m glad to have had this glimpse of the historic Atlantic City - once in my life.
