Awesome place! Modern, creative, super comfortable! Loved everything about it! It felt like living in a modern museum! High quality of shampoo/conditioner and thick towels of a high quality cotton. Best ever!

Everyone was upbeat and kind, and towels are available just inside the front door if you got caught by the rain. The bar provided me with a much-needed patron pick-me-up, and our large tv and bed provided a cozy experience for our last night in Amsterdam.

I loved the quirky and irreverent decor. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were a bit small. My wife and I are not large people, and we were always tripping over each other trying to get to the bed or to the door.

I was very pleasantly surprised with this unique property. It was an excellent stay. The staff was excellent: very accommodating. The room very clean and comfy. Loved the technology in the room with light effects if you choose. The shower and bed were amazing! I would do it again if I could. Highly recommend!

The hotel is close to trams and Amsterdam Zuid station which is convenient to go you destination and Centraal. There is no laundry facility though so the nearest place to do the laundry is at De Pjip station. But overall I would give it a 5 star rating.

Citizen M South was full of kind and pleasant staff, good breakfast, great coffee, great power shower with plenty of hot water, super comfortable bed and easy check in and out. It was also located within a walking distance to the trains, metro and busses. The rooms were well isolated and quiet.

I really like this hotel and the people there are very friendly. Evi is very helpful and pleasant. I was supposed to stay there for two days but I had an emergency and I couldn’t make it there on time. I explained my situation and they worked things out with me. I will definitely come back whenever I visit Amsterdam. Great area to stay.

The staff where absolutely amazing here, such a shame it is let down by old facilities in the rooms which seem dated and I need of TLC. It massively needs a refurb. The downstairs breakfast area and working space is great and obviously well looked after. I would recommend they refurbed their rooms! I have stayed at other Citizen Ms which are much nicer than this one.

Stayed here for 3 nights, the room was clean but it had a weird odour like a sewer, I think it came from the sink and shower drain. Other than the smell, the room was really nice and I enjoyed my stay here.
