I did a lot of research looking for the right place to stay. We needed a family friendly base to work from while visiting New England. This hotel did the job perfectly. We had a two bedroom suite which meant we had a great space to relax and eat after a long day. The pool was lovely and offered a great way to unwind. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly and helpful. Positives: -location, far enough out of Boston to allow us to go all over without going through Boston traffic. -amenities were great, pool, breakfast, parking, free snacks on certain nights. -quiet area, although we did get stuck with some loud kids upstairs one night. -close to target (Starbucks and pizza hut inside) and close to the mall. You can definitely walk to target but the mall I’m not so sure. -various access door around the hotel meant you could park close to your room and didn’t have to keep going through reception. Negatives. -one member of staff was slightly rude but the next time I saw him he was very polite. - it’s a shame there is not a quicker link to the interstates. The hotel is sandwiched between two main roads but it’s a drive past the mall to reach them. If we return to the area we would definitely book this hotel again.
We stayed at the Residence Inn Boston Marlborough for one night while passing through the Boston area. Picked the hotel at the last minute, and we couldn't be happier! The hotel is kept extremely clean and very well presented. Rooms were a good size with the separate bedroom and living room. Breakfast was great. Good variety and everything tasted great, as the breakfast staff kept things in good order. The staff in general was friendly, helpful, and very welcoming! Ali at the front desk quickly checked us in and where there to help when we needed. And in the morning while at breakfast we spoke to Larry for a few minutes, who made us feel very welcomed and took a real interest in us enjoying our stay and making sure our baby had everything she needed. We've stayed at many Residence Inns, and feel this was one of the best experiences, and look forward to staying again.
the rooms need to be re-done and the hall ways smell like food cooked with allot of spices...the rooms have loud air conditioners ... the breakfast and coffee in the morning was the best we ever had at a hotel totally up to a Marriott brand standard....A huge selection of everything you could want to eat and the front desk attendant was sooo accommodating and kind...oh and the lobby was really pretty but the rooms are in need of a major redo and have to be deep cleaned the fridge had stuff on the handle and the furniture was worn down and smell ...so I can't recommend this to my trip advisor friends...except if you are desperate.....
Have to say that this hotel is the perfect place to stay for when you have a tournament at the NESC arena across the street. First, because all you have to do is walk across a street for games. Second, because the hotel is incredibly clean, the staff is super friendly and the free breakfast helps for the early AM hockey games. Jenney Cataldo went above and beyond to assist our team with rooms, rates and amenities, too. Can't say enough about all her hard work, follow-up and hospitality.
Was very impressed with this hotel. The front desk girl was welcoming. The hotel was clean and all the staff were kind. Especially Danny, he was very helpful. Great location with the mall and restaurants right down the road. Loved how many options there were for breakfast. Couldn't have had a better experience!
I have been staying at the Residence Inn for almost 4 weeks now. Jenney Cataldo has gone above and beyond for me each week in assisting me with booking and making sure that I have a room suitable for my work related stay. In addition, the staff are very friendly at the hotel and make the stay enjoyable. I feel like I am in a community rather than in a hotel!
We usually have a one bedroom but this trip had a two. Was pleasantly surprised with the stove and fireplace. Felt more homey and super clean. Plenty of room for a family of five. Staff was very accommodating and friendly
The staff at Residence Inn Marlborough went above and beyond to assist in the planning and event of the wedding accommodations! From the beginning, Chelsea Coates and her team were excellent with communication and sitting down with my parents for a detailed meeting! We decided to use their lobby area for an after party which was perfect! Even when staff changes were made their Director of Sales Jenney Cataldo took over without any trouble! Jenney was able to ensure early check in for the guests who needed it, even though the hotel was completely booked. From helping me unpack my car with guest bags to calling dominoes pizza with a detailed order for the night of the wedding, I am so impressed with their service!
This is the 2nd night in a row I have burnt up in my room! This is crazy! There is no one here at this hour to fix anything, and when I woke up this morning I thought maybe it had just started working because the set point of 60° had beet accomplished by the time I awoke. I just dont understand why the unit wont kick on amd it is 71° in here!! I only want it to cool off a couple of degrees so I can fall asleep. Sheesh this is the pits!
I've been to a lot of residence inns, this one was one of my least favourite. Don't get me wrong, comparing this to a four star hotel this one looks great, but compared to other residence inns this one is weak. The sofa bed in our room (317 perhaps) was not in good condition. It sagged towards the middle and was so thin the springs were easily felt in my back. The temperature in the room was not even as well, with the bedroom being much colder and the other room was hot. For breakfast the larger sized caucasian lady was not pleasant at all. I don't say this to get her in trouble but rather perhaps she can improve and just be a bit more pleasant in her interactions with others.
