The basement suite is clean, comfortable, and aesthetically pleasing. It is a welcoming space in a convenient location, close to many great shops and the downtown area.As it is a basement suite, it can be on the cooler side, particularly during colder weather. Two heaters are provided, which help with the temperature, though I would recommend bringing a sweater or extra layer to stay comfortably warm.The suite includes pots, pans, and a two-element stovetop for meal preparation. However, there is no oven available for baking, so guests may wish to plan accordingly.One thing to be aware of is that access to the laundry room requires a key from the host. During my stay, there was a delay before I received access, so it may be helpful to ensure you have enough clean clothing if you anticipate needing laundry facilities.Overall, it is a lovely, clean space in a great location and may be a good fit for travelers looking for a cozy place to stay close to local amenities.
