I stayed at the Mere for one evening in September of 2017. After doing a quick Google search of possible hotel stays in the city of Winnipeg, it became apparent that Mere was my go to choice. It did not disappoint. The friendly front desk staff answered all my questions and provided me with prompt, effective service. The room was elegantly designed with and great view of the Red River. 10/10, would stay again.
Simply put, a wonderful experience through and through. A beautiful location along the river, Cibo restaurant adjacent is great and the hotel was clean, modern and stylish. The staff were all professional and thoughtful.
Stayed here for 1 night, great location, close to everything downtown. The hotel staff were also very helpful. Went to Cibo for dinner which is just steps away from the hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and very stylish.
Hotel was excellent! Beds comfortable. Everything was spotless! Even the towels were big and fluffy! I recommend this Hotel to anyone who has a discerning eye for value and location. There is a great restaurant next door as well!
My favourite escape in so many ways! The Mere offers affordable, convenience, cleanliness and trendiness all in a stay. I enjoy escaping to the Mere for a relaxing getaway - no other hotel can offer the same atmosphere and ambiance.
Downtown Winnipeg close to great spots for dinner, walkable to the arena for the Jets and Moose. Rooms were clean very modern, sleek is the best word I can use to describe the rooms, lobby and exterior. Not much in the hotel itself but plenty around the area. Great place for breakfast right out the front door on the river.
Great hotel on the river - Nespresso, bath robes, complimentary beverages/snacks. Went above and beyond to make the experience comfortable. Cibo restaurant is very close and has great food as well. Sound from hallways travelled a bit but no other complaints.
A friend recommended the hotel and so I thought I would try it. The hotel exceeded my expectations. It was stylish and hip without looking stupid. The staff were friendly and proactive. The location was cause enough to everthing I needed, but still isolated. I would, and have, recommended this hotel to friends and work colleagues.
Best hotel I've stayed at in Winnipeg. Just far enough from downtown to feel more safe. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Only drawbacks are, limited parking with very small stalls and no food services.
The hotel is truly cozy and well situated (close to downtown and amenities). The bedroom is very spacious and with a fantastic 'perk' which is a Nespresso machine (my favorite coffee). There is beautiful riverfront view with ease access to everywhere.
