We enjoyed our stay in November 2017. Visiting family and attending a wedding while we were in Winnipeg, we liked the location and river view on our stay. Comfortable room and convenient restaurant beside hotel.

Lovely room overlooking the river. Mini bar stocked with juices and cliff bars was a nice touch. Nespresso machine in room. Waterfall shower provided ultimate relaxation experience. I would recommend staying here.

What can I say. Love the style of the rooms, the mostly complimentary fridge of goodies. Can't really go wrong with this place. It's in a great area, can walk to a bunch of great restaurants. I love the Cibbo restaurant right behind it.

This is my second review of the Mere Hotel. I felt the need to update it as the hotel standards /amenities have slipped. It is also nice to know what to expect. First off the hotel is still in a great location - but it is starting to feel a little flat (like gingerale left on the counter overnight.) Big changes were the inclusion of a parking fee (I guess it was there before but it was always waved for a stay of more than a week.) The second change is that there is no longer a complimentary breakfast. As a futile protest I didn't frequent the Cibo once this trip. The last change was the quality of the internet dropped precipitously. Barely able to stream. Not a big deal as I had a full agenda but I can see that having to deal with a throttled internet might deter certain patrons. The rooms are still large, clean (though starting to show their age.) This is alos the only hotel I know of in Winnipeg that has Nespresso machines in the room - which is still awesome! Is it a good stay? Yes.... but not as good as it was two years ago.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel with a great view of the river. Would stay here again the next time I’m in Winnipeg. The only disappointment was that the great restaurant next door is not part of it so there is no room service.

The location is okay, within walking distance of the Forks and right by a nice park. It doesn't feel that safe, the surrounding buildings are less than inviting. There's only one restaurant in the nearby vicinity and the hvac system was very loud.

This was the second time I have stayed at the Mere for business. The room is impeccably clean and incredibly comfortable. The room perks of free water, juice, coffee / tea and snacks are a welcome change. It is always a pleasure to stay there.

A perfect boutique hotel with an amazing restaurant in the back & walking distance to Human Rights Museum and lots more. The hotel is modern, clean & unique. The river walk is just an added bonus. Service was amazing & included lots of free treats - waters, power bars, etc.

Great location and a lovely view. Room was clean and the staff attentive. My only complaint, and this seems to be of hotels in general, was a very loud HVAC system that did make it difficult to get to sleep.

Convenient location with modern styling, nice finishings and spacious rooms. A view of the river on nights with a full moon is certainly an unexpected bonus. Downtown access is close and convenient and you can hit major thoroughfares from here quite easily.
