We had a wonderful 4 night stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Great hot breakfast. The room was very clean and comfortable. Lots of room. Quiet location with easy access to major roads and highways.
I enjoyed the nights spend here. Excellent wifi, good friendly staff, quiet place, good service, welcoming, good breakfast, I would stay here again. So many good places nearby. Although I would have loved a bigger tv.
I have been staying at the Comfort Inn for quite some time now and the hotel is great. The staff are friendly and helpful. The Manager has been great to work with and very helpful in accommodating my stay extensions. The hot breakfast is great especially Martha the breakfast person.
From the outside it doesn’t look like much, but when you get into your room it’s really quite nice. Beds are newer and feel really good, nice sheets and comforter, very clean and updated. We only stayed for 1 night, but would definitely stay again!
Front line staff was great. Room was good. I could certainly be content with visiting in the future. However, when the general manager of all people makes the whole guest experience about the general manager, the general manager argues with the guests (a few observed instances), and makes it all about “the general manager”, and even goes to the point of being condescending, that is unacceptable and unprofessional. Frankly, it is not the job of the general manager to “argue with guests.” It is however the job of the general manager to make things right. There was no interest in doing this, but rather, in making sure all who could hear knew how poorly the property was at making a profit and that somehow it meant not being completely civil, let alone resolving any issue whatsoever in favor of the customer, was acceptable, appropriate, deliberate, and the norm. Impression: The general manager is always right, the customer never is. Recommendation: No matter the issue, don’t even try to resolve it. Don’t ask, don’t tell. Just don’t waste your time. Believe me, it is all and only about the general manager. You are only there so she has a job. Remember that and you should be fine. I would probably go back....but with a general manager like this it’s always a risk.
We stayed in Winnipeg due to a family tragedy. We wanted to stay close to our family home, while close enough to get downtown. The location was great as the TransCanada hwy was less than 1 min away, and made it very convenient to get from one side of Winnipeg to another. The staff were AMAZING... they made a difficult situation bearable. The rooms were clean the breakfast buffet was good. It was a little pricey for a no frill hotel, but the hospitality made the price worth its value.
Thank you for all your help to make our stay comfortable. To make it acceptable to rent a room without the use of a credit card was a major bonus point as we don't all have them....also the kindness shown towards us meant a lot again Thank You.
The hotel was clean and tidy! I used to do housekeeping so I know what to look for. The housekeepers do their job very well. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast had nice options. Will stay everytime I'm in Winnipeg now.
This is an excellent place to stay if you're looking for an inexpensive, clean room with great service and free breakfast. Easy to get to as it is very close to the south perimeter highway. We have stayed there many times and never been disappointed.
