Staff was great. Bed comfortable. Pillow 's superb. The location is favaborle for travellers driving south and favourable for travellers coming from the south driving on highway #75.. The property in general is ideally located.
They have pet friendly rooms on the ground floor with 2 double beds and patio doors. The breakfast was good. There were a few off putting things that happened, so I doubt we will stay there again. But, that was just our experience. I'm sure it is an okay hotel most of the time.
My recent stay at the Comfort Inn had to be extended by 3 days. The staff was awesome. They were very helpful especially when it came to knowing about the road and highway closures. My little family could very well have been caught in a terrible snow storm. Due to their consideration and assistance we were safe and warm. We enjoyed wonderful hot breakfasts and felt truly cared for as well as the room was fantastic. Clean, well laid out, good amenities and very comfortable beds. Thank you for making our extra stay so wonderful.
I stay at this property several times a year, never any surprises, always top quality. The people at the front desk may not remember by name but there is always recognition that they know I am a regular user.
Great staff at this hotel. They made all the difference in the world. They genuinely Made me feel so comfortable and at home on the road. I would highly recommend this hotel for the "Road Warrior". A+
I enjoyed my stay at the Comfort Inn in Winnipeg. The room was very nice. The staff were super friendly, and the location was very convenient. The breakfast could have had a bit less in the way of carbohydrates. 😀
It's Christmas night so I wasn't expecting much customer service but was pleasantly surprised with our check in. It was quick and efficient. Clerk was nice. Have to say, I'm not a fan of breakfast hours. Hot breakfast ends at 9 am? Really? A lot of people who are staying at a hotel are on vacation and would like to sleep in past 9 am. I get up to my room and it is as cold as a unfinished cement basement. Pretty sure with a reservation the hotel could have afforded to turn on my rooms heat before I got here so it was a decent temperature. Turned on the heat and 'surprise ' only half the heater worked. I cranked the heat and called downstairs for an extra blanket. To my shock I was told to come to the front desk to get instructions to the laundry room so I could go find my own blanket. What in tarnation kind of busness practice is that? 45 minutes later the room was tolerable with your jacket on and under the covers. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating and turned down the heat 1 notch and took off the winter jacket only to wake up 2 hours later frozen again cause unless the heater is cranked it won't keep your room above freezing. Definitely time to upgrade the heating system. So in conclusion I'm not impressed. This hotel will be one I will pass over next time booking a hotel. Kimberly Graham
Stayed one night on our trip west. Hotel is easily located from highway. Hotel is pet friendly and room had a outside door which we found very handy when travelling with a dog. Entrance has been updated however the room had not and appeared tired but tidy. Breakfast was the usual fair but convenient when starting out early.
Cost us one dollar more to book a ground floor room with glass doors we can back up to! THAT's a dollar well spent - and not the 20 dollars Kenora Comfort Inn wanted! The room is nice - fridge and mic, nice desk, nice TV area with lots of space to lay luggage. Great bathroom that even has a night light - nice touch. The room seems quite clean although the one arm of the love seat is a tad soiled. They also have full length mirrors times two. Now here's the biggie! We were unable to get one channel on the TV - phoned the front desk and the gentleman very cheerfully offered to come to our room, immediately, which he did and within a couple minutes had fixed the problem!!!! WHAT service!!! THANK YOU!!! And breakfast was incredible - HOT meats, eggs, waffles, toppings, etc COLD cereals, hard boiled eggs, etc : toasts, bagels, english muffins, jams - It's an amazing FREE breakfasts - you can now deduct breakfast costs AND probably lunch costs from your travel budget. A great deal for a great price!! THANK you Winnipeg Comfort Inn on Pembina.
