This hotel is a little further out from the airport. When I pulled in a little after midnight, it does appear to attract people you wouldn't necessarily want to share a cab with. There is a security guard that roams the parking lot. The hotel was also very humid inside, and it took a while for the AC to cool the room down.

The property is above average minus this two - there was no ready Kleenex and bottled water at our room. I called the reception and since she's alone that time, we were asked to go down to get 2 bottles of water at the reception or use the water fountain at the main floor. It's a small thing but for us being tired for a 6 hour driving, it would have been appreciated if everyrhing has been checked before we arrive.

One of the better continental breakfasts I've had at a hotel. Considering there were multiple wedding groups, kids ball teams, evacuees, and other guests staying at the hotel, it was very quiet. Room was clean. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Location was very convenient and it wasn't too far to drive anywhere we needed to go this weekend. Will definitely stay here again when we come back to Winnipeg.
