The experience from booking to having to return to pick-up a forgotten item after checking-out was great. The staff were very friendly! Breakfast was great and was especially happy to see that the food items were replenished as they depleted. This has been unusual to see in my experience of hotel stays so huge kudos to Comfort Inn for doing this. My room was clean, bed was comfortable, check-in and out was flawless. Thanks for a great stay!
My boyfriend and I checked into this hotel for 1 night a couple weekends ago just to as a quick getaway. We were pleasantly surprised in the modern decor of the lobby. The staff was very accommodating and we had a room on the first floor which was great. The rooms are up-to-date, and clean. The bed was very comfortable, the water pressure was great and I had no problems at all. There was adequate parking as well. Overall, I would stay again.
I stayed at this Comfort Inn while in Windsor, originally scheduled to be there only one night but was so pleased I chose to return rather than seek another hotel. The room was extremely comfortable and the personnel couldn't have been more helpful. It is centrally located, close to the expressway that runs east and west across the city, and there are numerous restaurants and shops within a short drive.
I was in Windsor for a few days to see my nephew's play. I wanted something convenient and affordable in a hotel. After checking out the reviews on Trip Advisor for a few places, I chose the Comfort Inn. It is literally right off the E.C. Expressway - if you blink (or drive too fast like I do) you'll bypass the entrance to the hotel. When I checked in, I was given a granola bar and bottled water, which is a nice thing for the hotel to do. I noticed in the lobby that they had a pitcher of lemon water that you can help yourself to, day or night. I was disappointed to learn that breakfast, which came free with my room, was over by 9am, which is too early for late risers like me. I was upset that I paid for something that I didn't get to use. My room came with a Queen bed, couch and ottoman. There were bedside tables on either side of the bed. It also came with 2 tables and 1 floor lamp. I noticed that there were 2 switches in each lamp for energy conservation. The oversized desk doubled as a TV stand as well. There was also a wardrobe, mini bar fridge, microwave and keurig machine. The only negatives about my room was the bathroom. The bathroom fan was very loud and the dirty bathtub needs to be replaced. The bathroom had a nice, new vanity, toilet and shower surround. Money was spent on these upgrades, so I'm surprised the bathtub was neglected. Also neglected were the light switches as they looked very old. Would I stay here again? Probably, due to its location and affordability.
I turned to this comfort inn after the staff at the other location near ambassador bridge were rude on the phone with me and very unhelpful. The staff at THIS comfort in however, were phenomenal and very welcoming. The hotel was quite nice and at a much more reasonable rate than other locations. Room was clean and spacious, service was excellent and breakfast was very good. I will stay here whenever in Windsor.
Arrived late for just sleeping and moving on. Found this hotel online, good prices and near the border to USA. Very surprised to see a modern look, clean hotel, new carpets, freshly furnished, hot breakfast with pastries and waffle station. Should we had a few extra minutes we would have used the gym! Really not disappointed, to the contrary surprised by how nice this place was. Beside a restaurant in the hotel, Hilton could not offer more. Well done to the management team!
For the class of the hotel this is one of the best we've stayed at in its range. The renovations are complete and it shows all through the hotel from the lobby area to the hallways with new carpets. We loved the bed, very comfortable while the refrigerator and microwave came in handy when traveling with kids. Housekeeping also did a great job refreshing after our 2 kids. Much appreciated. To nitpick a bit however; the tv was just 32" and the water pressure from the shower was not jet strong!
We were attending an assembly of Jehovah's Witnesses in Windsor. It was a busy and enjoyable time. I was impressed with the renovations in the hotel, the entrance and breakfast area is greatly improved. Our room was very nice as well, rooms are a bit small but the microwave and room fridge were a real asset and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is well kept and included breakfast is good. All in all we found the stay pleasant and hope to be back. We also found staff to be competent, helpful and friendly. We had a double queen bed room on the second floor.
I stayed two nights this past weekend. I booked a room with a King sized Bed and immediately smelled old cigarette smoke when I entered. I knew my allergies wouldnt allow me to have a decent sleep so I asked to switch rooms. There was only one left in the hotel and it turned out to be just a standard with double beds. The staff is friendly but hardly helpful. The whole feel of the place is out dated, the hallways the lighting everything. Our tub was stripped of enamel because of the drippy faucet so we ended up showering in flip flops. I wouldn't recommend this place. Because it was the weekend we paid a premium which is way too much money for such a sub par hotel, we will not be back.
Overall fantastic place to stay whenever we're in Windsor. The hotel is always clean and we always find the room well stocked and comfortable. The staff treat us very well and you can't argue about the price. You could stay at a bigger hotel and pay more but this place gives you all you really need. We will be back.
