First time staying here. Caesars was sold out. What a nice surprise! Newly renovated. Nice Pub next door had a late night (after 9 p.m.) happy hour. Front desk very efficient. Good value for the rate. Looking forward to staying here again.

I spent two nights at the hotel on a weekend visit to Windsor/Detroit. I was told I would get special attention as a Marriott loyalty club member. The room was small and minimally furnished. The bed was comfortable. The view was of the exit from Canada Customs and the lineup waiting to get onto the bridge to the USA,, with many lanes of traffic below my fourth floor window. I was not told about this when I checked in ... rather I was told that I was given an excellent room. The two elevators are insufficient for the large number of rooms on several floors.. The air conditioning was noisy and very difficult to control to provide an even flow of air at a reasonable temperature. There was substantial noise from people in the hallway at various times and from alarm clocks going off in the morning in nearby rooms. . When I mentioned this at checkout the response I was given was a shrug. Housekeeping service was good.

Fantastic experience for my 2-day getaway to Windsor. From start to finish, I couldn't have been happier. Right on the main commercial street of Ouellette Ave, easy walking distance to great restaurants, bars, museums, and of course, the beautiful waterfront and park. The front desk staff was professional and helpful. Reasonable on-site, secure parking for guests for $10.00/night. The facility is fresh and new, after a major renovation that was recently completed (I believe finished in Spring, 2019)--and it shows. My room was wonderful---modern furnishings, clean and fresh, quiet. Great bathroom. Housekeeping service did a great job. Terrific on-site gym for workouts. Less than 5 minutes from the Windsor Tunnel, so easy in and out. I am so glad that I selected this hotel for my stay. I will definitely return.

So me and my husband have stayed at this hotel 3 different times in a 2 week window. First time, 8 floor was so excellent, a 5 stars, we where so impressed. Shower pressure 10/10, room where spacious and so so comfortable. The second time, 5 floor, was very good too. Shower pressure 8/10 and the room was still spacious. But this third time got me really considering another hotel next time :/ Yesterday we where placed in an accessible’ room, Very uncomfortable to shower as there is too much handles and extra things (for those who actually need it it’s great) but makes getting around for those of us who don’t need it Very Cramped. The rest of the room layout as well, Cramped. Also just something extra to note, for those who can’t sleep flat, please bring your own pillow, as the pillows are so soft you won’t easily be able to build a little slope. Cleanliness is a 10/10. That is not something i say lightly, it’s really clean!! Coin Laundry on site, parking feels secure and the pool looks so tempting :) Like I said, to bad this third time dragged down my experience. I really wanted to review this hotel a 5 stars.. :/

Last minute reservation in route back to the States and was pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Parking was simple and NOT expensive. Roughly $14CAD. Room was new, clean and fresh. Did not get the road noise I usually experience in Downtown Detroit. 5 minute drive from Detroit, but feels miles away. Many taverns and restaurants across the street, but really enjoyed the bar within the hotel. Good food and friendly people. Again, surprised by this hotel. Will stay again!

Easy to find next to the Detroit tunnel exit. Parking garage on site. Not the best area of town, which has many empty buildings. However the hotel has great rates, and it basically brand new inside. Good service, very clean rooms and the shower is awesome !! Good beds, and large TV in each room.

We stayed here on a Sunday night as a quick getaway to the Casino. We usually stay at the Marriott Town Suites but decided to try the new Marriott. The hotel is completely renovated and beautiful. We were in a standard king room. The bathroom is small and very little vanity counter space. We had a fridge and a keurig coffee maker. The bed was comforable with nice linens. Our view was towards the river on the 8th floor and we could see some of the Detroit skyline as well as Caesars etc. It was about a 10 minute walk to the Casino and we felt safe walking back about 11 pm. Breakfast was not included, however we wished we had tried the onsite restaurant for dinner instead of eating at the Casino. Next time! We parked on site and there is an extra charge for that. We will stay here again because of convenience of walking back and forth to the Casino.

I will start by saying that I love this hotel. The renovations after the change of ownership are impressive. Very nice design with big glass showers and slick rooms. There are plenty of outlets for electronic devices. Also, the staff are welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. My big concern is this: The parking garage is a nightmare. It's an architectural design that existed long before the present owners, so it's not their fault. Safe to say, if you can manoeuvre getting up to the second level, you're not impaired. After checkout, I realized that I forgot my car keys in the room. I went to the elevators but I couldn't get in. There is no intercom to the front desk. So with my luggage, I walked down the very narrow ramp, which would have been more dangerous if a car came up the ramp at the same time. I can't express enough what a safety factor this is. Had this been night time, this would have been much worse. So my concern is that this is no intercom to the front desk, no security cameras anywhere on the lot that are monitored by the front desk and if we really wanted to bring things up to date, I'll add that there is no AED at the garage level. If someone was having a cardiac event, another guest would have to wait for an elevator (assuming they could get in to do so) and go retrieve one somewhere and go back up. Our church has an AED accessible everywhere, so I'm surprised that a hotel in a big chain doesn't. I expressed my concerns to the front desk staff. Yet, I feel very strong about this so I will be contacting Marriott directly. I have no doubt that this was an innocent oversight. As I mentioned, I love this hotel and have already booked a return stay. However, these safety concerns can't be overlooked and need to be addressed quickly.

Very friendly staff. Exceptional room and amenities. Very reasonable rates as well. No surface parking. This was of note because I had a taller than normal truck with rack. Lots of surface parking very close both covered and open lot. Also very reasonable parking rates. Regards Peter.

On July we visited the city of Windsor and as usual we stay at Marriott Hotels, this property was perfectly located downtown 2 blocks away from the water front with the view of Detroit across the lake the staff was extremely friendly an provided excellent customer service the room had a modern decor and was very clean the only issue that we had was that the washroom is very small not much room for two people no counter space, my wife had no room to do her make up but again very clean. We enjoy very much visiting the City of Windsor. Eddy L.
