Check in was at 3. Got there around 4. Had to wait u til 5:05 for my room to be ready. I was visiting for an event that started at 5. Way understaffed. The staff did their best to accommodate and explain the reasoning for the wait. This hotel definitely needs more staffing.

The area is terrible. They don’t offer complimentary breakfast and it cost $15 dollars if you want breakfast. They don’t offer parking. That’s $11 a day at a parking garage. Don’t waste your money staying there.

Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Unfortunately that was about all I enjoyed from my stay. No body wash in shower; got two conditioners instead, shower never got hot, internet/ wifi was out a couple of times affecting my work and lastly there was extensive renovations in the lobby which didn’t make spending time in the lounge any relaxing.

The air conditioner/heater did not control the temp. no matter what I set it at. The lighting in the room and bathroom were so bad, I thought I was losing my vision. One of the washcloths looked like it had makeup left on it. The sink in the bathroom filled with water because the stopper was restricting the water flow to the drain.

The room was clean. However, the condition of the hotel wasn't the Doubletree I experienced years ago. The hotel is badly in need of a renovation. The bed was comfortable; the pillows were not. It was okay for one night. I wouldn't book it again.

The hotel is located in a great area of the city, walkable to businesses, shopping, and restaurants. We were charged $94 dollars for food/beverage on 9/28/25 when we arrived an the Metro Cafe in the hotel was not open. We will make a formal complaint to management.
