The experience was amazing and I love the rooms there I will definitely go back to homewood suites.

Picked this hotel by default but one line in the description sold me. The views. Nicely located right off the main drag but back off the road. Very quiet and set adjacent to a state park trail and pasture views. Our room did not over look these areas but was sweetly framed by lovely tree tops. The staff was very helpful with our questions about places to eat and the various garden/historic sites we came to see. Quite an extensive breakfast with hot choices, real plates and silverware. Nice pool. Our room was HUGE!!! Big living room area, table and chairs and the bedroom was very large too with nice windows and that dreamy, leafy light coming in. An excellent value for a quiet, spacious hotel close to all Wilmington's many amenities. Highly recommend.

We had a one bedroom suite with a fireplace. The extra space was comfortable. The room was clean and quite. Breakfast was decent with some healthy choices. The location is good, easy access to North Wilmington and PA. There is a hiking path directly behind the hotel.

Looking for a convenient location for all of the du Pont mansions, houses, gardens in Wilmington plus close to Longwood, the Brandywine River musuem and the Brandywine Battlefield? This could be your place. Nearby restaurants make evening dining easy.

Staff originally wanted to put me on the first floor, right by the lobby, elevator and food service area. . Really? Not a very secure location for a woman travelling alone! I had to ask for a quieter, more secure location and my request was begrudgedly fulfilled. The pitiful little coffee maker in my room was broken and the paltry excuse for a wine bottle opener was insufficient. Also, I was unable to figure out how to set the alarm clock in the room and had to use my smartphone for this function.

A good suite at an affordable price. The location is near major shopping centers, also.

While not luxurious the rooms were immaculate, quiet and comfortable. The buffet supper and breakfast were not gourmet but very tasty. I'd go there repeatedly if the prices would remain constant

The hotel was clean, quiet and comfortable. Parking was not an issue. The hotel was secure. You needed a key to enter the hotel after 11:00 p.m. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would stay here again.

I love this hotel! Great service awesome breakfast

I will stay at Homewood Suites for now on! The price for a weekend included breakfast and 24 hour coffee that is actually pretty darn good, this from a coffee snob! Great stay the room was awesome 2 HD TV's... I will be back!

This was one of the best stays I have ever had in a hotel. The price for what you receive cannot be matched, Free wifi, free parking, free breakfast its incredible....The staff is wonderfull, the grounds were very well kept and the little secret that makes this place my favorite.......The farm behind it and the scenery! ...We got to pet the horses who came over to us in the late afternoon behind the pool. Sunset there is beautiful too! We will be back

Hotel was spotless, food/breakfast was very good and a variety of cold and hot foods provided, pool was nice. Staff was pleasant and friendly. A home away from home

the weather was not ideal for many outings, but the area was really nice. There were many places to shop and eat close-by.The rooms were really nice- very roomy for a family. The staff was great. The food was great. I would definitely stay there again.

We've stayed at a nearby hotel while visiting family over the years, a couple of years ago that hotel's beds were just too poor keep us. We went to Homewood Suites without reservations at the same rate as the nearby inferior hotel. That was two years ago and the place seemed new. We went back for this recent holiday and the place was similar. Great space, great price, great breakfast AND dinner all thrown in for a low price.

We stayed at the Homewood Suites when we went to visit our daughter at the Universtiyy of Delaware for Patrent's Weekend and I will go back every time I visit her for the next 4 years! It was like having our own apartment away from home. The hotel is a good distance from the school, not too close, not too far and there are lots of stores and restaurants in the immediate proximity to keep you entertained and occupied. The hotel also offers a very nice compimentary breakfast which was most appreciated.

Suite was the way to go and for the price, could go to sleep and my wife could stay up and not bother me

The staff at this hotel was as friendly and helpful as any 5 star luxury hotel--yet this was a budget trip for us--excellent valus--2 rooms, 2 TVs, free complete breakfast and free business center. Excellent employees--all were helpful and courteous--good, clean, quiet suite in an excellent location.

The Homewood Suites was very convenient to the Brandywine Valley area I was visiting. The room was spacious and well-maintained. The room was very quiet, even though the hotel appeared to be full. The staff was helpful and attentive. The buffet breakfast was a bit lacking, since there were wedding parties and families on the weekend I visited (Memorial Day weekend). The food was good, however, there was a wait for food, since there were so many people there at the buffet at the same time. I would stay there again.

Our room had all the comforts of home. Everything was clean and new. Everything was upgraded and worked well. We only spent two nights, but it was close to everything in the Brandywine Valley, and could have spent more time. Breakfasts were great.
