We stayed on 2 different nights 11/6 and 11/9 on the same floor. The bathroom on the first night was tiny, the bed way too soft. The second night the bed had a low spot down the whole center that brought both people together in the middle, it was soft as a marshmallow and a terrible night sleep. The rooms need to be upgraded since there was no place to to plug in the devices by the bed, the shade was ripped off the wall.

Great location downtown. Large room in a charming historical building. We walked across the street for dinner and beer at the Bullfrog Brewery, which was great. Breakfast in the morning was full of good options. Parking was free and there were plenty of spots. A great stay!

Grand old hotel, needs updating, my room was okay, bathroom was very small. Bed was comfortable and tv was nice size with plenty of channels to watch.

It was a nice hotel, a little dated. They are going through a renovation. Arrived at the hotel around 7:30 pm after a long day to find out they didn't have a room for us. I booked this hotel a couple of months ago on Expedia and I received a confirmation. The front desk guy was calling around to other hotels in the area to get us a hotel they would pay for. After about 1 hour wait they had a room for us after someone had called to cancel a reservation. I don't know who is in charge of reservations, but they don't know what they are doing. You should know how many reservations were booked and how many rooms you have available. I was told they always have a hold for a room at another hotel just in case, but they decided to release it without checking that they needed the room. This is a horrible way to manage your rooms. If I arrive at a hotel that i have a confirmed reservation, I EXPECT to have a room available to me

For a longer stay like this, having the kitchenette was great. Also appreciate the additional bathroom space compared to the smaller rooms. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Quality of breakfast was better on the weekends than during the week, but better than elsewhere overall. Insufficient space in the parking lot on weekends, when people resorted to parking wherever they could whether it was an official spot or not.

There were two major events taking place at the hotel, so there was a lot of noise and confusion when I checked in. Also, the parking lot was full. The room was spacious, but the furniture was old and uncomfortable. The bathroom had many problems, including a toilet seat that was too low, not enough room for toiletries above the sink, and an old looking bathtub with a high side and no rail to grab when getting in.
