Location and unique room style. Fairly quiet and peaceful.

Very unique experience staying in a historic city hall turned boutique hotel. Loved that! Just a tiny critique, bed linens could’ve been more comfortable. We both slept hot under them. Also pillows were not great. One was too thin and two together were too much. But overall great.

The room was a great size, very unique and provided lots of space for three people to feel comfortable. The one negative is how much you could hear your neighbors. But given the age of the building and the uniqueness, I wasn't all that surprised and it would not deter me from staying there again. The property is located within walking distance to many restaurants which is fantastic.

Such a different type of experience.. What with all the rooms having their own themes and no staff on site. Plus, it's a gorgeous building.

The idea behind the hotel of isi g a historical building is very clever. They have done a fantastic job with the decor in the different rooms and in the common area. They have used items from the lumber era such as a saw blade or an old door in creative ways, e g as a chandelier or headboard. We were accommodated by the staff very well. I would definitely recommend it!

The transfer from City Hall to Hotel was done beautifully. Stayed in the 305 Blue Room and it was awesome. The only thing slightly negative thing is that there is no privacy when using bathroom or shower. It’s all open. There is a beautiful common space right outside the room so we utilized that area while the other was getting ready. Overall I would definitely stay again if the need arises. It was nice to have a dedicated parking spot and it seemed to be a safe and quite area. Within walking distance to shopping and dining.

We very much enjoyed our stay at The City Hall Grand Hotel. The craftsmanship is superb and the cleanliness was perfect. I would note that the toilet does not have a door. Neighboring room sound carries a bit more than typical. Be sure to remember your cell phone/alarm clock also. It also has a iron board, iron, and hair dryer. Really a great stay and a great host. I would highly recommend.
