I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The staff was very friendly, nice restaurant and clean rooms.
We had a great time at the Wichita Marriott. I was extremely nervous about this trip because my father has dementia and has special needs. The hotel staff was extremely helpful and the facilities offered everything we needed. There was a laundry available near the pool/gym that was open 24 hours so that we could wash soiled clothes when my father was asleep. There was also a lovely bar area with a fireplace where I could go to unwind over a glass of wine. I don't know that I would have been able to handle this trip without the support of the staff. I really appreciate everyone's help and the lovely facility.
Hotel was great. Clean with a friendly staff. Food in restaurant was excellent. Only thing I can company about was the bathroom in our room. It was clean but needed updating.
Service and the Restaurant was excellent. Rooms are standard, A little difficult to find.
The room was excellent for the price, however there was no free continental breakfast so if you planned to eat at the hotel then you'd have to pay a little more there. Also, the free Wi-Fi is limited, ie no streaming of any kind, music or movies. You have to play an additional $8 to get a faster connection for the day. These things may not be important to some people, but they happen to be things I look for in a hotel so I was disappointed that I needed to pay extra for them.
The hotel staff was exceptional, it was reasonably priced and located just a short distance from the Wichita-Continent airport. The king size bed was very comfortable as well. The pool was also very refreshing.
it was awsome the staff was always helpful and friendly. it was a delight to stay there will stay there again.
Me and my family feel very welcomed by the staff and hotel when we stay here. Everyone is soo nice, helpful and knowledgeable. We stay here everytime were in wichita.
We really enjoy staying at this hotel. It has an awesome pool for our kids. And the rooms are awesome and beds sooo comfortable.
Booked TWO months in advance...Reservation for FOUR people. When checking in they gave us a room with ONLY a King bed! Really? Went to front desk, wouldn't switch our room due to booking with outside agent, but offered roll-away bed.....Really? 45 minutes late, still no bed. After waiting 5-10 minutes each time we needed the elevator, I went to front desk AGAIN. Then, ten minutes later, the bed was delivered, NOT SET UP, but delivered. I inquired about breakfast, and was told free breakfast depends on the rate you pay.....Really? We were told we hadn't paid enough...with no offer for a free breakfast to try to make up for the room ordeal. Customer Service-not friendly or helpful. Elevators-Way to slow, and only 3 to service entire hotel. Pool had leaves in it (lots). There aren't microwaves or fridges in room. Bad experience all the way around.
It was a great stay, comfortable and quite in a great location!
I went there for my birthday for and i gotta say the place was very nice walking in and checking in wasn't even a hassle. i would recomend this hotel to anyone but they didn't offer free high speed internet ? i would figure they would but they didn't over all it was a very nice place to stay in.
In town for a wedding. A great place to rest and sleep and very private. Safe access to the elevators.
My mom and I stayed for the night in a room with 2 double beds. I wanted to take these beds home with me. I've never slept go well. She had to the same experience. I think the beds were the highlight. Check-in was courteous and took about 1 minute. Everything was neat and clean. No alarms and no surprises. I didn't get to try the pool. I didn't want my body scaring away the rest of the guests out of the pool area. Also didn't try any dining options, but I assume it's a 5, like everything else was there.(there should be an "N/A" category). The only thing that I would have suggested is that their parking lot should be lit a little better for safety purposes.
Loved the hotel and I would stay there again. Staff was great except for security guard. Fitness center and restaurant were very good. My daughter was disappointed when she couldn't use the pool because somoene had vomited in it earlier. Also a little concerned to see security guard arguing with guests and threatening to throw them out of hotel when they appeared to be asking him to watch his language around children.
it was great
The staff was nice, the room was great. It was clean and cold when we walked in. I was worried about my car in the parking lot getting broke into because at another hotel that happened to my friends who were in wichita. The only not so great was the pillows on the bed were horrible. They are down and flat. You might as well just put your head on the bed and went to sleep. Other wise it was good.
This is a very nice hotel that we were able to get at a great discount. The kids enjoyed the pool that was part inside and part outside. They had a very nice fitness room. The rooms were a little small. The beds were very comfortable. There seemed to be some bathroom plumbing issues. There were a lot of noises coming from the bathroom all night. The shower didn't drain so you were ankle deep in dirty water while you were showering. Overall we really enjoyed our stay.
Only a quick stay, but filled my needs for cleanliness and quiet. Excellent experience. Will stay here again next time I'm passing through Wichita. Just a note about the survey- I didn't eat at the hotel, so it would be nice to have a "did not apply" box to check on the satisfaction survey part.
Attended reunion of 5/60th Infantry. TV in rooms did not have FoxSports - no Royals game. It was an OK place but was slightly flawed.
