Thoroughly disgusted in this place NOT recommended. Very noisy in corridor! View us a car park no use opening window! Soccer game here so they are asking a premium it’s disgusting we have no choice!! Sofitel for the same price two days ago was $300.00 + much better but we couldn’t book it as Wellington is booked out all over 🙄 not going to return here for sure!! Shabby and tired inside has got good white goods but it doesn’t compensate paying ‘‘this much money for a night!!!

First glance at reception worried me a little. Very blingy, modern, glass and stainless steel....auto doors and shinny lifts that you need your door cards. The lift opens into a very modern looking sterile corridor with stainless steel and porcelain floors.....opening the door to our room was a relief really. The room, a kitchen dinner/living room and a nice size double bedroom. 2 huge patio doors let in the cool air but also the noise. The hotel is in a fantastic place for night life and restaurants ....but the play off of course is the noise. At night, and it was every night, its very noisy. I sleep with headphones anyway and my wife sleeps like the dead, so its not so much an issue for us really. But you couldn't to tv, or use Skype unless the doors where shut.... But because there is no air conditioning, which at the price of this per night, was a massive surprise, you have to have the doors open all night. Also, you share a veranda with the adjoining apartment! Ok if you have a nice quiet couple like us next door, not so good is you have a party of 20 year olds having a dinner party like we had one night....with them "at first" wandering about in front of our apartment and bedroom. Everything you need is in the room. It's cleaned and re stocked every day, but we choose to go green on a few days. Cant complain about the staff, all very good. and if I couldn't find any one if I ran out of stuff, I just helped my self from the trolley..... all good. I have a moan about the washing machine.....it stank......and it took me a day of constant washing the same room towels before I thought it was clean enough to put our washing in it. I don't think it had been used for months... So, really only 2 gripes.....NO AIR CON and believe me, you need it here as each room has more glass than a green house and the filthy washing machine. Now, I did attempt to get to the pool and gym on day three. But you have to walk though a car park to get there. A sign saying follow the blue line led me through a car park so I gave up. So if you like to use the gym each day and swim.......I suggest this isn't for you...its not in the same building and you have to walk through exhaust fumes. 3 stars......but air con would have been 4.....it really does need installing. And I would like to here from the management here as to why on earth its not installed. We are returning to Wellington twice within the next 12 months, I wont stay here with air con, but id like to...

A pleasant surprise in central Wellington. Amazing linen and space. Gorgeous bed to fall into at the end of the night. Great lighting, not the usual dark and dim hotel lighting. Great pressure in the shower and super friendly front desk staff. Pool and gym close by and included. Totally recommend to any Wellington travelers.

These were apartments and pretty nice, full kitchen in all the 89 rooms. Great view from the window, contemporary design with lots of space. This room had everything you need when your away from home. In a great area and walk to everything.

We stayed here for three nights while visiting with our daughter. We got a free upgrade to a 2br so she stayed with us. The location is perfect for touring the city or hiking Mt. Victoria. The street was fairly quiet except for Friday night. The reason for the less than perfect is the condition of the living room furniture and the stained carpet. Otherwise, this accommodation is perfect. The apartment was fully equipped with a small kitchen (fridge, oven, dishwasher) dining table, living room and washer/dryer. The washer/dryer cycle took all day and still never fully dried out clothes, but the towel warmer in the bathroom was good at finishing them off. The apt. was stocked with laundry and dishwashing detergent, coffee, tea and milk which was nice. There’s a pool and gym, but we never saw those so I can’t comment on them. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Good location - couple of streets over from Cuba Street, and only a short walk down to Te Papa and the waterfront. Little further away from Lambton Quay etc but still reasonably easy walking distance. Number of restaurants, fast food outlets etc close by, or if you are self-catering there is a supermarket about 5mins walk away. i had a one bedroom apartment with kitchenette - which was very handy. Room was comfortable (furniture etc a little tired but still good), kitchenette had enough equipment for what i needed. Also handily i had a washer/dryer in the bathroom. Only two negatives 1) the servicing of the rooms was variable - I think it depended on who was working. The first couple of times the room was serviced absolutely no problems, after that (when a different person was doing it) I had a couple of issues - for example i got new towels (dumped on top of the washing machine) but she left the old towels still hanging on the towel rail, or she tidied the room - but forgot to take the rubbish out with her. 2) lack of insulation between bathrooms - i could clearly hear my neighbour taking a shower at 2am - not the greatest when you have to get up early the next day. But overall a good stay

We stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom apartment. Great location which we chose to be closeby to Te Papa. However it was rather overpriced for a tired small apartment. Smokebutts on verandah too. We didnt get th cleaning because we were resting by th time cleaners came. Pool beyond the carpark which we used, kinda weird set up.

Fabulous apartment. Just me and my husband so plenty of room in this one bedroom apartment. Lovely spacious clean bathroom with washer/dryer. Full kitchen and dining room table. View was of building next door but it meant we had no outside road noise at all. Staff on reception were super polite and very helpful. On Tory Street, you are literally a 2 minute walk down to Courtney Place where there are plenty of restaurants. Would absolutely stay here again.

Convenient location with parking. The room was adequate although a little on the tired side - just little things - stained bed spread, housekeeping failed to replenish shower wash and vanity kit etc - I was staying 3 nights and was not asking for towels to be replaced daily so was on 'GREEN ALERT. Carpet quite stained and some little cleaning aspects needed attention. Some road noise at seventh-floor level but for the inner city, it was not too bad. Front desk staff are efficient but not personable. Lots of eating houses in close proximity. Yes i would stay again but not at full price.

Amazing rooms separate bedroom from the lounge and separate bathroom toilet - facilities in the unit included full size oven with ceramic hotplates - full family size fridge with separate freezer - dish washer - washing drying machine in the bathroom - large colour TV in the lounge - extremely clean in fact it looked like a doctor's or dentist rooms very clean hygienic everything is either stainless steel or chrome plated
