The location of this property is absolutely wonderful. Highlights include the screened-in porch with its ocean view, the spacious patio with views of both the ocean and bay, and the crow’s nest. The swimming pool is huge with plenty of room for lounging, and we enjoyed the games provided — shuffleboard, cornhole, and foosball.The layout worked well with a wraparound second floor and not too many steps. The views from the living room and kitchen were lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the large smart TVs, reliable internet, and reclining living room furniture made movie nights extra cozy.This house was perfect for two adults and two dogs. There’s space to entertain 15–20 people, though with only three bathrooms, that could be a challenge.The house itself could use some updates. The keyless entry didn’t work, so we had to carry keys, and the door handle was broken, making it difficult to lock. Some faucets and fixtures could be refreshed, and parts of the flooring show water damage.Even so, the location was everything. The screened-in porch became our favorite spot, the appliances worked well, and the beach is directly across the street. The fantastic outdoor spaces more than made up for what the house lacked.All in all, it was exactly what we were looking for — comfortable, fun, and perfectly situated — though it would truly shine with a little TLC.
