Excellent hotel

Very nice hotel! The room was spacious and well-designed, very comfortable bed and pillows, great amenities. Overall, the comfort exceeded my expectations. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. The small outdoor seating area was a nice surprise! A great spot to have a cup of coffee and read a book.

I most disliked that I was charged $150 more than my cost at check-in for "incidentals". The woman behind the counter said it was in my contract and I should have seen this before reserving. after checking I did not see this. I obviously had no choice but pay it - although I was told it would be returned in a few days, maybe. I was there for an overnight stay and would leave the next day early. This was absolutely unnecessary as I would not steal or destroy anything... I'm 67 and my wife 64. Everything else about the stay was good, but this soured everything. Needless to say, I will not stay at this hotel again.
