This is my second stay at this hotel. The hotel is quiet and clean. What keeps me coming back is the owner and staff. I feel like a family friend. The owner makes time to chat and the staff great you in the hallway.
This past weekend, our family had to travel to Vineland, New Jersey for a soccer tournament. Finding most hotels booked, I was happy to get a suite for 5 at the Quality Inn on Landis Avenue. Pictures and reviews seemed OK and since we were only spending one night, I figured we could rough it. Vineland is not a particularly attractive town, seems to have been a farming community, which gave way to industrial parks, which has given way to urban blight. However, the Quality Inn was a definite bright spot. It is situated on busy Landis Avenue, across the street from a small shopping area. Although small, the establishment upon entering is clean, very clean, tastefully decorated with the front desk manned by very friendly staff. Upon arriving we were greeted by a charming, cheerful gentleman and at check-out a very pleasant, friendly woman waited on us. The two-room suite, two actual rooms, not a sitting area adjacent to the beds, was lovely. The larger room contained two queen beds which were comfortable, with plenty of pillows and covers. There was a large dresser with a large TV, a mini refrigerator and tables. The other room was arranged like a living room, with a sofa bed, a coffee table, small dining table, desk with desk chair and a full-size refrigerator. We knew the real test would be the sofa bed. I think we all held our breath as we opened it. The mattress was clean, no stains, odors or smells. In the closet we found clean sheets as well as not one, but two mattress pads and heavy duvet. Our room was located near the elevators which can be problematic, but we had no issue with noise from other guests or the elevator. There was only one bathroom in the suite, but it was large enough to allow us three ladies to put on our make up at the same time. Shower had excellent water pressure and water was nice and hot. Free breakfast is included with your night stay. The dining room is small, but there are plenty of food options, juices, coffee, yogurt, eggs, sausages, cereals, bread, bagels and muffins. Should you find yourself in Vineland for whatever reason, give the Quality Inn on Landis Avenue a try. It is a friendly, clean establishment welcoming to individuals and families alike.
Loved this hotel. The staff and owner were so nice and took the time to talk to us. I loved my room. It was so clean. Event though my room faced the road I did not hear the outside noise. I know when we have to go to Vineland again we will definitely stay here.
This experience was so bad I am posting my first ever hotel review. People need to know. Literally the most disgusting and vile hotel I have ever stayed in. I had no choice because we were in town for a soccer tournament over a busy weekend and there was literally nothing available. Non smoking room smelled like I walked into an ashtray. I bought a can of air freshener at the Rite Aid next door and it still smelled. Disgusting stains on the sheets and bedspread. Set heater to Max on a 20 degree night and cold air came out. Drapes had "white stains" which looked suspicious. Front desk was useless and even nasty. My expectations were already low given its a motel in the middle of nowhere but I did not think it would be this disgusting.
The customer service here is extremely poor. My family and I stayed there for 2 nights and upon arrival my father was told that he did not have a reservation. My father found the reservation on his phone and the lady at the front desk told him that the next time he has to bring a printed copy. The breakfast was the worst. The first morning the coffee was cold and the bagel was hard. The second morning we came down at 10:00 and were told, "breakfast was over but you can have coffee." We were told to reuse towels, just hang dry the towels. The linen was not changed either. There are other places to stay near by. The rooms here are very small and the services is horrible.
My request for the Hallmark channel was researched and the channel number was waiting for me when I checked into the hotel. Attention to detail throughout my stay. Very pleasant and helpful. I appreciated the restful time at this hotel. Clean room; all the amenities were there. Definitely a very affordable stay at a very nice hotel.
friendly helpful owners and staff, great pillows and beds , quiet, and breakfast! an hour away from Atlantic City makes this hotel a hidden gem We rented 2 rooms there were 4 of us and had a very pleasant stay
Front desk is very unprofessional and rude when it comes to customer service. We were harrasseed with calls and knocks at the door even when we were being told we were being charged a late check out. Told the lady at the front have a nice day as I left, she replied quickly "don't worry". Safe to say my gf and I are taking our business elsewhere.
We were looking for a good night sleep on our way to the shore. We found this hotel served the purpose for our needs. The place could use a little bit of work. We found the double beds very comfortable. Room size was fine. Carpet was starting to show its age, but not real bad. A few chips on the doors. Older type AC unit. Frig and microwave included with new TV. Our room was clean. We asked for a quiet room and got just that. Breakfast area smallest we have ever seen with 3 tables and 6 chairs. We opted to eat at IHOP just down the street. Only one issue to report to fellow members. Anyone challenged getting off a low sitting toilet may have a problem. Our toilet sat very low and it would be hard for an older person to rise. There are no handles to grab. We would stay here again.
Hotel staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Stayed one night. Front desk was great, breakfast was great as well. Smaller hotel but perfect for our needs. Would definitely stay here again. Would recommend this hotel without a doubt.
