I read some terrible reviews about this place yet I decided that for $76 including tax and no deposit for a Saturday night it deserved a chance. I'm glad I did, the place is located next to every restaurant, fast food, pharmacy and gas station you could think of. It has a refrigerator, microwave flat screen tv, a desk and chair, a vanity and a chair plenty of lighting, plugs, wifi (we were even able to use our firestick that we brought). The room is huge nice comfortable matress, blankets soft warm blanket on the bed, nice working heater, no smoking smell ( of course we were in the nonsmokers section) bathroom was clean, rug was clean. What else kind I say? We have spent nights at few prestige places around New England and outside the country, were we have paid up to $550 a night (we are always traveling) and I must say that besides great views and a brand name this place does not have anything else to envy them. Only thing I could say is that the front desk guy wasn't to smiley but who cares? He only checked us in and out lol. If I ever return I will definitely stay here again. We were in room 100 in case someone is interested on giving it a try.

All good, family run motel very nice owners. There's a WaWa directly across the street. Also an exceptional Samsung flat screen television with a lot of channels to choose from. The maid and other staff members were always mindful of my needs.

Every year we visit our daughter at Rowan for family weekend. We only need a bed and do not want to spend alot of money. This time we went to the Plum Tree Inn. Worked out perfect. Room was clean and beds were nice and cozy. After we left my daugher me and my husband went down to a few little bars down the road which were so much fun. We will stay there again next year.

Checked in on a very hot day, the ac was cranking but the mold smell circulating was unbearable. We debated leaving but it was just too late, and I was tired. Ended up leaving suitcases in car and checked out at first light. All four of us had respitory issues in the morning. All together it seemed creepy and unfriendly, wouldn't stay here again.

Photos on this website are old and inaccurate. Motel is painted beautiful tropical colors and the property surrounding it is well-groomed. Motel has been renovated by what appears to be a family who live on the premises. There have been many imprvmts made inclg furniture, carpets, TV, mini-fridge, microwave and linens, Security cameras and digital swipe locks on the doors. Bathrms are clean, tiled and in fine working order. Owners have invested a great deal to make this motel attractive. I would return here but for some minor flaws: 1. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are adjacent and below each other. Cigarette smell is pervasive from this and more likely from the previous life this hotel once lived. 2. Motel is set back from the Black Horse Pike about 100 yards, but the highway noise travels across the open field in front of the motel units unrestricted. If you enjoy the roar of redneck pickup trucks with no mufflers, or that sweet rap of modified Harleys at late or early hours, this is where you will get your buzz. 3. The free Wi-Fi sends out a strong signal, but the connection never allowed me to connect to a web site. There was something wrong with the motel's modem or router setup. As soon as I returned home my laptop connected to Wi-Fi without a burp. Sorry to be picky, the Pope made me do it. We stayed here 'cause everywhere else was full or charged gouging rates 'cause the Pope was coming to Philly. I hope he reads this and cuts my time in Purgatory a few years 'cause I did penance for his visit.

I had a comfortable bed, clean room and hot shower for a very reasonable price. Breakfast was hot coffee, juice, yoghurt and some prepackaged muffins and pastries. Easy location convenient off Black Horse Pike in Williamstown, plus easy access to Atlantic City.

I was going to stay here with a group for a wedding. I made a reservation and there was a mistake in the dates. I noticed my bank deducted the room charge despite me not staying there. When I called to discuss it, the guy said I didn't show up and since he already gave hotels.com their commission, there was nothing he could do. He told me "call whoever you want, you're not getting it back." then hung up on me. I called HOtels.com who tried to negotiate with the guy. The guy said he's not refunding the money. I would STRONGLY suggest not booking with this hotel.

The Plum Tree is a very nice, family run hotel with the owners living on the property. The owners are proud of their place and try hard to keep it looking nice. Yes, it is an older property, but it fit our needs perfectly. Free parking and close to both Atlantic City and Philadelphia.

On our 11 night honeymoon in America we stayed at 9 different hotels, motels and inns. This was one of the worst and yet was not one of the cheapest!! We didn't dare get in the shower, let alone the spa bath.... Very dingy! We also had to book in to a smoking room as no others were available. It smelt horrific. More of an effort should be made to air rooms out if you are going to let people smoke in them. Check out was advertised at 11am. My husband and I had flown from the UK, had 3 nights in NY and then a night in Atlantic City, so we decided to have a lie in. Unfortunately house keeping had other ideas! They tried to get in the room (glad we had the chain on) TWICE between 10 and 10:15!!!!!!!! They need to provide Do Not Disturb signs. I would suggest finding somewhere else, we ended up really liking Red Roof Inns. Half the price of this place too!!

We needed a place to stay in AC at the last minute and didn't want to spend a lot. It was clean and neat but it's not the Borgota!!! I won't kill them on the rating since I paid less than $100 on a Saturday night. The weirdest thing that happened was that we called several hours earlier to confirm that they had a room. They confirmed that they did and we gave a credit card and that we would be there by 9 pm. We didn't get there till midnight so they gave the room to someone else!! The credit card doesn't hold the room! I'm not familiar with this concept at all. They had one room left that happened to be a smoking room. We were tired and it didn't smell too bad so we took it. Again, don't stay here if you expect a high end hotel for $80. However, it was clean, neat, and freshly painted. It had a microwave, refrigerator, and nice Samsung LCD TV. I guess I would stay here again if I was in a pinch. I would definitely hope not to be in this much of a pinch again though!!
