The parking lot was very poorly marked and I received a phone call and woke up at 10:00 pm that I and 5 other people were parked in the wrong spot and had to move our vehicles. I was parked there from 4pm so they had 6 hrs to inform me but waited until 10. Also the AC unit was so loud it was hard to get back to sleep. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and checked out the next morning and found a better hotel

The room was nice and clean. Early morning the load noise wake me up. The noise was coming from the blower located outside of our unit's door. I think they installed a sophisticated co2 sensor and blower in order to handle the oxygen level in the unit. This is the only bad experience. The property is close to the water. We had a walk across the bridge to Green Elephant Tai restaurant. The green curry was really good.

Our stay was very brief, so we didn't get to explore the hotel amenities. I loved the shower and the bed was comfortable. Although we didn't use them, I like that our room had a refrigerator and a stove. I love that there is a TV/games room as well.

Was not as pictured on line but was ok. Staff was very nice & helpful. Restaurant was good although a bit expensive. Construction right next to hotel - noisy & dirty. Not in a location I would feel safe in walking.

Booked last minute, staff were super accommodating. I got a free upgrade as well. Great value, great location too; you are outside of Downtown Victoria but just 5-6mins. My only complaint was the shower being small I am 5’10. Not really a huge deal though. Will be staying again. Decently deep pool too which was a bonus! Check in and check out were easy, and parking was easy to find. Which is always a bonus for Victoria.

The rooms were totally satisfactory, the beds were super comfortable. The staff are terrific. Very warm, friendly and helpful. Kids will love this place. There are games, cool area to watch TV, play ping-pong and a nice outdoor pool. Wish we were able to stay longer to experience more of it.

My daughter found an old sanitary napkin on the floor. We woke up to a loud splash from the bathroom where a leak poured out from the fan. I was nervous that I didn't know where the water came from. We didn't use the bathroom and just checked out early.

I had a # of flights cancelled and had to quickly “day of stay” book a room at the Vic, Ascend Hotel through Expedia. The reservation was non-cancellable. Then my flight to Victoria was cancelled! I called the hotel and asked if I could cancel the room with no penalty or get a hotel credit. The reservation desk was very nice. Initially, they said “no”. I asked them to consult with the manager. The reservation desk called me back saying the manager’s decision was “no”. The hotel is in the right to charge me, but no flexibility. “It’s the policy”. Frustrating day. Would have been good to get a break. I’ll remember the treatment next time I book in Victoria.
