Easy access to attractions. Friendly staff. Parking availability. clean facilities. It would be nice to have microwave oven in the room. Thanks.

nice location and property. Hope you can have water heating pot or coffee maker to make hot water.

This is a historic hotel, which has its upside for those who love the feel of such things. It also means there was one plug in in the whole room (and one in the bathroom) and no refrigerator or coffee maker. A bit tough for 21st century people with all our technology. Our room was quite small with virtually no room for our bags, but I think that was my fault in booking. The room right next to ours was significantly larger and nicer. The front desk clerk was extremely friendly and helpful.

Very clean and close to town center. Nice restaurant and pub on premises. Free parking and great price.

No hair dryer or iron in the room. Had to call down for those items. Place is clean and fine but no frills and dated

Excellent service on all levels. Great stay. Good food in the restaurant as well. No elevator but understandable.

This place was enchanting. The staff was so kind and helpful. This is where I wil stay if i ever get back to Victoria. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable and lovely old building, staff helpful

Room we were given was just too tiny, big bath but small room with a double bed. The lovely girl at the desk upgraded us to one with 2 queen beds and a lot of space for only another $30 a night, Canadian, which was a deal for us. The restaurant downstairs is surprisingly good as well. Good walking distance to the heart of Victoria. We did enjoy it.

This is the second time we have stayed here. There is a very good restaurant and pub located on the bottom floor. Food is awesome and pub has pool table and darts. Don’t worry about noise because it’s very quiet in this neighborhood. The parking is free. And location was walkable to harbor and where you want to go. We had a corner room which was comfy and big. Beds are wonderful and room very clean. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The only draw back is there isn’t an elevator so be prepared to walk steps unless you are on the first floor. There wasn’t a hair dryer in the bathroom. I look forward to staying here again.

We have great experience with the staffs who were very helpful and friendly to our request. They were very patience in helping us. We are definitely recommend this hotel for family and friends

Great location on historic Government street just a few minutes walk from Emily Carr house one direction and the government building the other. Old but clean rooms. Thin walls. Good coffee is always ready in the morning and cold water available all day in lobby. Would stay here again.

I had 2 friends from out of state, I live in WA--we had a very nice stay--only thing lacking for me was a hair dryer in the room.

Lots of character, close to downtown. Restaurant and Pub were good for eats

Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Loved the character of the property and friendliness / accommodation of the staff

The room was quiet and clean, and the location was convenient.
