Just got back from 4 glorious days and nights in Victoria staying in the James Bay Inn cottage. From the minute I checked in, I knew I had made such a great choice. With thousands of places to stay in Victoria, this was my first time choosing the James Bay Inn. Right from check-in, the friendliness of staff and high-quality of service was something that really stood out to me. I had the pleasure of interacting with a couple of front desk staff and staff in the pub and they were all so welcoming. The cottage was absolutely perfect for our stay. I loved having all of the amenities of a cute little house and the amazing proximity to downtown. We walked everywhere. The beds were super comfortable and the cottage was spotless. I honestly didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return again soon. Well done James Bay Inn.

Hedy greeted us warmly as we arrived and he made our visit a real pleasure. JBI is located centrally which makes for easy access to all the great things in Victoria. Our room was lovely and very clean. We would stay again any time.

The property is historic, cozy, and warm! The staff are very welcoming, and the downstairs lounge/pub was a vibe for watching sports. Our room was small, but clean and comfortable. There’s free coffee and tea in the lobby :). Would definitely recommend for the location, friendliness and price!

The Green House, where I stayed, is a quirky old Victorian-era house, with old-world charm and details. It is not a cookie cutter hotel room, with beige decor and bland artwork, but is cozy and incredibly clean, and felt like a home away from home. The pub downstairs met all my dinner needs, the ocean was a short walk away, and there were plenty of coffee shops to pick from for a morning walk. Would happily stay here again. Thanks for having me!
