The location to downtown, 8th street and the port for for the ferry to Port Angeles were excellent. The waterfront was lovely even with the construction that closed a few of the nearby streets. The appearance of the hotel was pleasing and the staff were helpful and accommodating; however, we found the room towels were stained, the ice machine was out of order on all floors, the access to the parking garage was inconvenient and the bathroom needed to be painted. The hotel was crowded and lacked parking for all the guests, we were originally directed to another parking garage until I presented my handicap parking permit so I can imagine it might be difficult for other seniors without a handicap permit. To obtain access to the P3 garage handicapped parking from our room, you had to take the lobby elevators and a special elevator around the corner to access P3. I would suggest handicapped personnel to ask for parking in P2 for easier access. The proximity of the handicap parking to the parking elevators was excellent for both P3 and P2. The staff were helpful and accommodating. It appears from our Marriott visits on this trip that they are encountering difficulties post COVID with hiring staff and facility maintenance much like many other hotel chains, but comparing this Marriott experience to our pre-COVID experience is disappointing. The hotel was clean and the beds were still up to Marriott standards and than you for the handicap handles in the shower.

Lovely staff and helpful front desk.

Staff very friendly. Very clean and location was great to walk everywhere!

Rooms were very comfortable, quiet and clean. Excellent fresh air ventilation system. Not necessary to sleep with window open.

Pros - Great location. Bar makes some nice cocktails. Cons - Room are small.. Poor housekeeping (Could be that the cleaner had an off day) but there were too many fails from an unclean toilet seat on check in to rooms partially made up for my second day. Management was apologetic and seems like they wanted to fix. If fixed would stay again.

Friendly, helpful staff, very clean hotel, restaurant food is delicious. We will come back!

Comfortable and clean hotel with very friendly hotel staff.

Stunning sunny corner room. Spacious, modern. Two walls were windows (that really opened), floor to ceiling. Balcony. Great location.

Not our first stay here and won't be our last. The hotel and it's facilities are very clean and comfortable and the staff is excellent.

This is my favorite hotel for downtown Victoria. Since covid the valet service has returned which is great, still waiting for room service to return and for the restaurant to be open all day (currently closed at lunch). The staff are friendly and helpful, rooms comfortable and clean, concierge service quick and efficient. This place is my go to

Paying for the parking was not good value $30 was way too much.

Loved the vallet service and the jndoor pool/hottub area. Staff was courteous and friendly
