Love the hot tub, sauna, game room and restaurant. Staff is stellar, will definitely stay here on our next visit.

Spacious room with balcony, good in-room coffee, great location

Very large clean room in a great area. I would definitely stay again.

The hotel is located on a quiet street very close to many things and the room was spacious.

The staff was very helpful and the shuttle service was excellent. The hotel was a very pleasant place to stay and conveniently located for exploring the city.

While the wharf neighborhood is pricey, the hotel is convenient to restaurants, shops, the whale watching companies, museums, ... The staff was nice and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the room was really quiet. The only issue we had was the room was really warm. We got full sun all day which was nice but there was no air in the room, just heat. Even with the window fully open, we found it a bit too warm. Other than that, we'd definitely recommend the Royal Scot.

Nice and quiet, and decent companion hotel guests; nice british style architecture and indoor design

Very clean, comfortable and close to everything we were interested in.

Really close to the inner harbor. Easy to walk everywhere. NIce staff.

We had a wonderful comfortable stay, with a complimentary upgrade.

It was hot on BC and there was no ac. Staff was very friendly.

This charming hotel was a gem! I didn’t want to leave. Everything about this stay was excellent . Living in Phoenix, I was initially concerned the hotel was not air-conditioned. Even though we were there in the heat of the summer, we did not need air-conditioning. We left our windows open at night and enjoyed the cool fresh air. Hearing the clip-clop, clip- clop of the horses pulling the carriages was a special and unexpected treat. Colleen, a server in the restaurant, added a special touch to every meal with her cheerful personality.

Very nice older hotel that is close to a lot of attractions. We walked almost everywhere but did use the free shuttle service once...which was very handy! No A/C in the room but we had fans. Great staff! Great hotel!

We just came up for one night but hotel is set up for longer stays with kitchenette in room, billiards room, pool and sauna. Only drawback was being next to Parliament Building with all the Canada Day Concerts.

The hotel is right in the heart of Victoria. It's very well maintained and clean. The staff were professional and on top of things despite being very busy for Canada Day. Lacking a name brand I wasn't sure what to expect, but the hotel was great. And a good value for sure. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Victoria.

The property is located close to the inner harbour and you can walk to the many sites in the area. Horse drawn carriages are at the end of the block if you want to take one for a tour
