With a friendly, helpful staff you can just relax in a spacious suite or trek out to walk around the lovely city of Victoria. With a full grocery store within walking distance or a short drive, you can cook for yourself or take advantage of the pleasant dining room open all day. After a long walk, we enjoyed the swimming pool and jacuzzi. The staff will obtain dinner reservations where you might like to go as well as drive you there in their courtesy van. It was a most lovely relaxing stay.

Very comfortable; feels like home; except for walking through smokers to get through door.

We had no cell phone service, and there were no phones at ferry building that the public were allowed to use to call hotel for a pick up. We had to tow our luggage up 3 blocks to the hotel. We are in our 70's, so not a good experience, when we first got to Victoria. The hotels should have some type of phone or service to contact them at ferry landing. Our cell phones have no service in Canada.

Charming hotel located close to the harbor and all its shopping. Literally right across the street from the B.C. museum and within walking distance to tons of restaurants and shops downtown. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Let us check in early and waived the accociated parking fees for the night's we stayed. Everything we very clean and tidy. The pool and spa were gleaming and there were almost no other guests around, so we had the whole pool to ourselves. They also have shuffleboard, a game room, and a billiards table. All of which were uncrowded during our visit. Would highly recommend and will be staying again on our next visit!

Well, for how high the ratings were and the prices we were definitely disappointed. I was excited when they told me about the guest room upgrade. To my dismay, the room was a "suite" (because it had a wall separating two beds and a very dated kitchen with a full refrigerator, but by no means did it seem like an upgrade. The entire layout seemed to be stuffed into the room. The most space in the whole room was the kitchen. The whole layout was completely awkward. They crammed in a couch, 2 full size beds, two living room chairs, desk chair and a TV with a huge cabinet into this tiny space. It was kind of dark, kind of dingy. Bathroom was sooooooooooo small, really didn't make sense to even have a door on the bathroom it was so cramped. Good news is that we just needed a place to lay our heads for one night. The bed (full size, only 1 bed facing the TV) was surprisingly comfortable, slept pretty well. I feel it was way over priced for the property, but super close to the harbour and walking distance to any attraction in the harbour. We did happen to be there at the same time as Victoria's Splash Orchestra (probably the reason for the high price). Overall disappointed, things to be happy about; the close location to the harbour!

I wish we could've stayed longer. It was a very nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. I loved that it was within walking distance to all of the cities activities.

The hotel was a bit older but staff was so welcoming and accommodating. There was a small kitchen area in room as well as swimming pool. Our family truly enjoyed it here!

Nice hotel close to downtown Victoria. Quiet, comfortable, and spacious room. I would recommend.

We had a great stay for our family of 4. The hotel staff was very friendly. There were game rooms downstairs. We were upgraded to a larger suite which was very nice. Hotel is older and clean. Good location allowed us to walk around town.

Great location - walking distance to many attractions.

We booked our rooms back in July- 2rooms for 2 couples. When we arrived, one couple was assigned a room on the first floor, the other the 3rd floor. When asked at check-in we were told that was what was available (arrived in October). The 3rd floor room had a balcony and the first floor room nothing except a window. The rooms should have been in proximity of each other and comparable.

The studio suite was ok for 3 people as it had a queen bed and fold out couch. No tv in the bedroom partition.

Check-in staff was curt. Offered shuttle service if someone was available. Most times no one was available or had long wait. Restaurant mgr got his panties in a wad because I lifted a cover of chafing dish to see what was being served at buffet. "Concierge" performed double duty as gift shop attendant and wasn't very well versed in answering my travel questions (was most concerned about leaving at 5.) Bed was comfortable. Shower was great. No paper towels in kitchenette. NO AC!!

The hotel is only 5 minutes walk to the inner harbour. We got upgrade from to 2 bed room. Room is located in a quiet location. We will consider to come back next time.

The hotel is close to many of the points of interest in the town. The shuttle, a free service, will drop you off and pick you up anywhere in town. The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I was looking for a place near the harbor and downtown. This was the perfect place for me. It was unassuming, clean, comfortable and quiet. I wasn't looking for a great view or hotel amenities and didn't want to pay for them so this was the right choice. I left some items in the room, they were found by the housekeeping staff and returned to me, thank you!

We have stayed here before and the hotel was as nice as always. Very convenient for walking over to the central part of Victoria.

Hotel staff was wonderful and so helpful. Hotel was so close to inner bay area and great resturants. We walked almost our whole time even though we had our car. Clean rooms and spacious. Would stay there again and again.

The hotel more than met our expectations. Yes, it's a bit of a flashback in time design wise, but everything was super clean and comfortable. Very roomy suite!

Great location. Mot reasonably rice gift shop on planet Earth! The restaraunt ,however, is owned by someone else and the staff was standoffish and unaccomodating.
