Location of hotel is great as it is a 5 minute walk to inner harbour and all the attractions. Room was quiet and clean but could do with a renovation. Nice that there is an indoor pool and a restaurant on site.

We love Royal Scots. The rooms are great and the service is excellent. they have a great pool and hot tub. game rooms a library and a laundry and walking distance to everything wonderful in Victoria. They also have a shuttle service to help you get around town. If you are driving Parking is convenient and you are very close (minutes) to the ferry to Port Angeles.

This was our first stay and we will definitely come back. The staff was welcoming and friendly and loved the character of this hotel. It was clean, quiet, really liked our full kitchen and the bed was extremely comfortable. The location was perfect and we highly recommend this hotel.

Staff were very non informative which I feel was frustrating. Zero info given upon check In. Didn’t tell us we had to pay for parking. Didn’t tell us if our room was non smoking or if there was any restrictions etc. there is free parking on weekends outside the hotel. This should be communicated. Rooms were clean and huge although very dated. Location is fantastic

We had a great room that met all our needs. The front desk staff were awesome . One suggestion is better heat control on thermostats in rooms. Ours had to be shut off to get the room cooled down to sleep.

It’s an old hotel but I found that more charming than anything. The staff are superb and the location can’t be beat. My son and I stayed a week and absolutely loved it.

Room had only baseboard heater for entire suite. No heater in bathroom. No coffee table in living room. Bathroom toilet is so small and close to the floor it’s like a kids toilet. Very old and not easy to use. Overall hotel clean and restaurant was really nice with good food and service.
