Grimy. The bathroom floor was sticky, the shower curtain was moldy, the baseboard heater didn’t work. Just gross. The only upside was that there was underground secure parking.

Room was clean, beds were comfy and big. There is a shelter or food kitchen right next to it but that kinda provides some entertainment.

Disgusting, moldy, rusty, filthy, smelly, staff hate their jobs and don’t care about you. Ugly decor, stained sheets, dirty bath tub, dirty walls dirty carpet. Just the worst experience and checked out early I was so disgusted and stressed I couldn’t take it anymore.

BEWARE

the ONLY thing i can say positive about this place is location. The service was f'ing terrible, the cleanliness was f'ing terrible, and well, everything here was f'ing terrible. Elevator broken, underground parking sketchy, the whole place smelled like dollar store fragrance.....the welcoming committee was "customer is NEVER right.....it's a low budget hotel, what do you expect?" when we complained about our severely stained mattress cover. We didnt have a fitted sheet on one of the 2 beds or a clean pillowcase on 1 of our bare pillows (a cpl of them had pillow cases, we had 8 pillows). When we unzipped the mattress cover to remove it's stained contents, we discovered what looked like a crime scene on the mattress. We had the front desk guy, who checked us in, to come in and look at it. He showed up with a fitted sheet rolled up in a ball and handed it to me. It wasnt folded, looked like it was pulled off another bed last minute. He was not slightly affected by the state of the sheets and proceeded to tell us we should not be taking the mattress cover off. He said he was told by a man who knows hotels and travels the world trying out hotels everywhere, that you are supposed to sleep between the comforter and sheets. The sheets get cleaned but nothing else. I'm sorry....are we crazy? Does anyone else NOT sleep under sheets??? I expect in EVERY hotel, motel, inn, airbnb, vrbo, etc that i have a 1. Fitted sheet, 2. Sheets, 3. Comforter 4. Extra blanket. Wouldn't give us a refu

Clean and comfortable beds on the plus side. Free parking. Not in a great area, lots of noise and people having a tough time in life all around. Staff was friendly but building is run down. Didn’t feel insafe but not particularly comfortable with family

Front desk clerk had to leave to deal with something before we could be checked in so another clerk stepped up and helped us check with no problem. Hotel offers free coffee and tea in room but only coffee was present. Not a worry as Victoria is loaded with tea shops locally. After an evening event, there were loiters outside the main entrance and 2 followed me into the building unchallenged. I was pretty sure they weren't guests guests and I felt uncomfortable when they follwed me down the hall but they went past my door and didnt cause any problem that I know of. I just felt weird about it. We were able to leave our luggage in a secure common room the next day after checking out. That made our daytrip so much more convenient. Lots of transit nearby and walkable distance from downtown. A bit on the noisy side due to the neighbouring shelter and number of amdulances using the road. The inn itself was pretty quiet and it was acceptable for a one night stay. We had 2 queen beds, very comfortable, a shower with good water pressure and enough towels. A decent, clean room at a reasonable price during shoulder season.

Our room was right over the main busy road. Sirens, traffic noise, people talking. Had to set the fan on all night to drown out noise. Bathroom sink tub and toilet were clean, however , the floors, walls light switches and door handles were visibly dirty and in some cases sticky.😣

Check-in took 45 minutes with 10 other guests waiting in the lobby. A veey rude desk clerk. After waiting so long, the room keys didn't even work. The shower didn't work properly nor did the AC. No face towels nor tissues supplied. Base of bed broken. Electrical extension wires were very dangerous looking. Outside of hotel had remince of drug relatied pipes and glass tubes near front door. A bottle of Iron syrup suppliments left by previous guest along with a small box of tablets to rid dog smells on caroet.
Very... very dangerous.
