Hotel Rialto

3.5 out of 5.0

Good location from proximity of things and places we wanted to do and see. There was street noise during busy parts of the day. A very pleasant place with an exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable staff. The staff made the Rialto special. Mabel and the Women from Australia, both worked the front desk were excellent when it came to customer service and helpfulness.

The location and the staff and the coffee shop were excellent

Great location, nice bar and restaurant, with liquor store next door and a 7-11 within a block, as well as other restaurants and stores.

A nice hotel. A fantastic staff. Good location though the streets seem a little unsafe later at night. Breakfast was very good.

Nice Hotel closed to inner harbor. The staff are nice and friendly. It’s classic and clean with great food and bar experience.

Lovely hotel! Welcome cheese plate in nice bar with great food was a nice touch. Very clean! Good breakfast included!

I've stayed in rome and the lay out of this building is very similar to a family run hotels there. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Enes who works the front desk always had the biggest smile on his face, and would genuinely ask how we were, as well as followed up with us on our outtings. He made our stay feel more homey. Like we were talking to an old friend. We ate at their resturant and had a fabulous meal. We had a late seating but we didn't feel rushed. Our waitress Im unsure of her name was very friendly. We asked her several questions about the menu, in which she was very knowledgeable about the dishes. (We dined wednesday night and were seated in the dining room). We loved the green program. Our only suggestion would be to leave the fridges plugged in or have the doors proped open. We opened our fridge Wednesday to cool drinks and it stunk. We however did forget to inform the hotel of this, probably because everything else was so good, and our trip was pretty packed with activites.

Rooms were well soundproofed from the exterior noises with ample space in the suite for visitors, travel paraphernalia and relaxing. Bed was comfortable. Quality of breakfast showed attention to freshness. Even when busy, staff remained friendly, helpful and professional. Other tenants also noted difficulties with the card swipes to access the rooms; expect to try several times before the door unlocks.

Convenient to everything. Nice staff. Enjoyed our stay

Great staff, clean, updated, and roomy accommodations. Would definitely return

Free cheese plate at the restaurant in the hotel and free breakfast the next morning! What more could you ask for? And the breakfast went WAY beyond your typical hotel breakfast experience. The waiter was so friendly and accommodating.

The Hotel Rialto was a treat. The front desk staff was so helpful and responsive. They had great restaurant recommendations, and did so many things to help us. The rest of the staff was friendly and pleasant too. It was very near Chinatown and close to the water, everything was in walking distance. There was a small comfortable bar for drinks and food in the hotel that was convenient too. Rooms were large and comfortable. We would definitely go back. Thanks.

Great service, really good location. Parking was a bit of a hassle, but using the public garage was much cheaper than their valet for only about a block of walking. Very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend to a friend.

Great and comfortable hotel! Breakfast was very Good!

Wonderful hotel right next to city hall. Excellent service, quality and value. I highly recommend this hotel.

Able to walk everywhere. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room, Jr. suite, was very comfortable, quiet and well appointed. The complementary coffee and pastry in the morning at the cafe was quite nice as was the breakfast menu...no need to look elsewhere in the morning. I would highly recommend this hotel for a couple or a family.

We walked to the hotel from the ferry--it is about 10 blocks but not hard to walk. It is near area attractions so you can walk easily. The hotel is very quiet even though it is on the corner of two busy streets. Our first night we were only one floor off ground and I was sure it would be noisy from the street but they have triple pane glass and it was very quiet. The rooms are very attractive. We ate breakfast and one dinner at the hotel and they were excellent. I would stay here again.

We loved this hotel. Price was great and the perks wonderful. Enjoyed our welcome cheese plate at Veneto and coffee and pastry in the cafe. Traffic noise was my only complaint, but it was fine at night to sleep.

We returned to Victoria, BC after about 30 years to celebrate our 34th Wedding Anniversary. To our surprise, the Victoria area has grown tremendously in population, tourism and amenities. We were pleasantly surprised and pleased with the Hotel Rialto. The newly remodeled hotel has class and charm. However, most of all, we found the high quality of the service quite outstanding. Everyone we met...from the front desk to the service staff... were kind and helpful. They all helped to make our special celebration even more special.
