Just loved having a tiny taste of old Victoria in this uncommon piece of early architecture. Despite being a 19th century building, the room and accommodations were perfectly comfortable. Though, don't expect a big room; that's not what the Club is about. Also, note that it is an active cluib and they are particular about a dress code if you intend to dine or lounge in the common areas.
I find reviews with ALL high marks suspicious. This property has earned ALL high marks from me. Everything was absolutely fantastic. We required NOTHING extra. Everything was as it should be and better. Cleanliness, friendliness, efficiency and beauty all deserve the highest rating.
I stayed here on business for 2 days and the location was incredible. The service and hotel breakfast was also wonderful. The room's highlight was the canopy bed with traditional steps to get into the bed!
