The staff were marvellous. Check-in was quick, very professional young men. Parking was good, lots of it. Our bed and pillows were comfortable, nice white bedding. The bathroom shower taps were improperly installed and we had no hot water the first day but they quickly had that repaired. Both my husband and I have bad knees and hips so the low toilets with no bars for assistance was a problem. We bought a portable commode and fixed that problem. The floor in the bathroom and entry are very slippery when wet and that was a problem. Enjoyed our stay.

Disappointing that they did not refresh the coffee station in the rooms daily. They would only make up the room if you were staying for 6+nights which is ridiculous. Tiny bathroom and there was a loud noise from something mechanical all night long both nights. The metal bed frame squeaked everytime we moved, rolled over etc. Underwhelmed by the bad renos, less than helpful customer service and location.

I was greeted in a courteous and professional manner. I had a kitten with me and that wasn't a problem. My room turned out to be a suite - with a living room, small well outfitted kitchen, bedroom and bathroom (with a rain shower). The staff were amazing. I had a problem with my wayward kitten and between the maintenance staff and housekeeping staff we managed to get her into her carrier.

Very clean, nicely furnished, great staff, and some of these best amenities anywhere. TV with all the subscriptions. Cozy old-school pub in the basement with great beef burgers at bizarrely reasonable prices. Also attached hip diner but unfortunately don't open till 8am. Best yet: affordable pricing! Only downside: not a walkable destination.
