The casino and hotel were separate. We had to use a shuttle to giro from the hotel to the casino. The buffet in the casino was close and the food in the unique place opened was terrible. In the hotel the TV was out of order. We asked to the reception and they promise that somebody were to our room, but nobody went.

Would not stay there again Purple asked Sam to store my luggage as I checked out the morning but wasn’t gonna leave for a couple hours curb and they wouldn’t do it.

Lovely room with view of Mississippi River. Nice, clean, and comfortable. The only downside was that all dining facilities are across the street. Not convenient - but they do offer free shuttle service. Complimentary coffee was excellent!

Half way point from Texas to Alabama, so we decided to check it out. Rooms were exceptionally clean, casino was fun, and the buffet was average. I would stay here again!

The hotel condition was fine, staff was helpful, didn't realize that the casino was across the street from the hotel so you have to shuttle back and forth, but overall nice stay. Also the casino steakhouse we wanted to dine at is only open on the weekends, so we unfortunately were unable to eat there.

As implied by the picture, this hotel is NOT at the casino near the river. Instead it is a separate building about a 1/4 mile away. Very disappointing!

When we arrived and checked in, the door had the dead bolt thrown so the room was not secure. When we opened the door, the TV was on and we thought someone might be in the room. After calling out and no answer, we looked inside the room and found it was empty with no sign of occupancy. We also noticed 2 remotes for the TV and soon discovered neither of the remotes would turn off the TV. I immediately went back to the front desk to verify the room was vacant and to let them know the TV would not turn off. (This TV had no buttons on the outside of the TV at all). The front desk clerk went to the room, reset the cable box and used the remotes to change channels, volume, guide and etc. Once they left we tried to turn off the TV. Still could not do it. I finally was so frustrated, I pulled the power cable out of the TV. Problem solved. Then we found the AC thermostat set to 58. When we tried to change the setting, it went crazy and started flashing all kinds of numbers. We actually had to turn it to heat, let it warm the room, then back to AC. All the while the thermostat would go crazy. We finally got it set to 71 but it would show 75 before the AC would kick back on and then it would get really cold before it turned off again. This "deluxe" room was advertised as having in room coffee maker and a refrigerator, but our room had neither.

It was good. Had easy access to casino and downtown Vicksburg.

The room was perfect, the staff very friendly, but no food available on premises. If you go to the buffet at the casino, get your players card first or they charge you an extra $3.00. This made me very unhappy. The pool was also closed, of course it is early February, but they should at least have an outdoor hot tub, I'm from Colorado and even in winter hotels have hot tubs for use.
