Highly recommended this place. It’s an historical mansion and each room is different and beautifully decorated. The breakfast is served in an amazing room and the table is set like in the 1800´s. The staff is super helpful and friendly. Just a short walk downtown where you’ll find some restaurants.

We enjoyed our stop here so much we changed our plans so we could stay again on our return trip. Each room is unique and lovely, but don't plan on spending your time in them. The house has many porches and rooms to enjoy, and a nice garden and pool. Breakfast is amazing!

We enjoy the unique experience of lodging in old, but updated B & B homes. The room was furnished with lovely antiques and a very comfortable king sized bed. Our hostess was constantly communicating with us prior to and during our trip. It was a lovely expeeience in this beautiful home.
The mansion is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay; there are, however, some minor room for improvement. The downstairs hallway is dim. The Dixie suite bathroom needs a fix on the toilet seat, a box of kleenex and a bar of soap for the shower; brighter light in bathroom; couldn't use bedside lamps and other plug in outlet at same time. a full hour for breakfast before tour starts would help. (830 to 930) Tour should be 45 min to then allow time for guests to pack and check out on time.

The mansion is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is amazing!! David takes you through the mansion on a guided tour after a scrumptious breakfast and tells the history of this old gem! The courtyard is beautiful with a sparkling clean pool! We’re definitely going back! And as to the paranormal...I didn’t see anything but there is a peaceful presence at the home. Nothing to fear in the least!
Great location. Breakfast was different each day and a step up from most free breakfasts. Enjoyed the tour of the mansion, free soft drinks and water.
This is a beautiful place. The weather wasn't that great but summer would have been a real treat. It's close to historic Vicksburg. The manager gives a tour of the house and history at 9:00. The bed was really comfortable and the place was surprisingly quiet. Huge TV in the room. It's own bathroom. Refrigerator to use nearby with sodas and water. Parking lot. Loved it!!!
Furnishings and appointments felt like they were getting a bit shabby. Breakfast was great, ambiance was nice. Neighborhood was a bit mixed.

There are switches in all those downstairs rooms that control some of the lights. This is a common problem and I am going to have those switches killed. I will address your bathroom concerns. Thank you for your comments and for staying with us.
