Recent guest reviews

Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable bed, quiet location, decent breakfast bar. Would definitely stay here again.

Room was recently remodeled and clean but breakfast area needs some attention!

I loved everything about the hotel especially the direct tv.

The Staff had great attitudes and was very helpful. Breakfast could use some updating. Add some yogurt. The entrance could use some cheering up. It felt cold. Add some inviting fixtures, flowers, or call a Decorator and get some ideas. Overall, we had a great visit.

Travel 5 hrs. Got there at ten of three and was told could not check in till three. Found food in freezer. Breakfast disappointing. Not a good stay compared to other Baymonts

This hotel turned out to be quite roomy and we were especially glad to see it had a nice-sized fridge and microwave in the room. The breakfast was fresh and good, and the staff was very nice. The hotel was completely booked the night we were there and for the price, we were really happy with it.

We had read some reviews complaining about breakfast options or other trivial things so we thought it wouldn't be that bad since there weren't any serious complaints. We were wrong. We booked a king size bed in a no smoking room on orbtiz, when we got there they only had a double bed in a smoking room available. We enter the room and found stains and cigarette burns on the pillows and comforter. The toilet was partly shattered and there were no towels anywhere in the room. The walls were so thin we could hear our neighbor snoring and the words from his tv perfectly. Since there was only one person on staff (on a Saturday night at almost full capacity) it took an hour to get towels and change the pillows. She was trying her best but was constantly busy dealing with the many other client problems. Don't stay here unless you pay $10 or less.

The location was convenient to the NMP, my destination. Breakfast was not nearly as good as the breakfast at the Baymont Inn I spent the previous evening in in Shreveport, LA. Would have preferred a blanket instead of the noisy heater unit, but I was told they have no blankets. Maybe need to bring my own next time.

The bathroom had not been cleaned. There was hair on the floor and in the bathtub. We could not get extra blankets. They said they were out of blankets.

We arrived tired and the hotel had lost our reservation. Clerk made it work though with a first floor room. Bathroom was small and the door was awkwardly placed. Morning buffet was marginal. Coffee so-so and they had no eggs and no gravy for the biscuits. We ended up stopping at McDonalds on the way out of town. Next time, we will book a different hotel.

I was in town for a competition. I have stayed in this same hotel on more than one occasion and was very pleased with it. This time the staff was unfriendly and unhelpful. They did not have enough towels for all their guest. My room had spiders and bugs. They talk about how great their beds are so I must have gotten an old one cause it was hard as a rock. My next trip to the area will include a stay at a different hotel.

Trip to this hotel started with being given incorrect directions by the front desk clerk (I was given wrong interstate exit number). Check-in took 20 minutes; there were several guests checking in and only one clerk working the front desk (poor management planning). Once in the room, the air conditioning did not work (temperature outside was 96).Ice machine near the lobby did not work; another guest had to tell me where another ice machine was located due to the one front desk clerk being too busy to tell me where the second ice machine was located. Another guest told me she found 3 ticks in her room. Although wife wanted to check out, I convinced her to stay, thinking things would improve, but the second morning, I took the used towels to the front desk for exchange and was told "we're all out" (I had to locate a housekeeper elsewhere in the hotel who went a found clean towels).Overall, this hotel management poorly supervises the front desk personnel and poorly responses to clients' concerns and needs.

I love going to the Jameson but for my last two visit they have messed up my bill and the hotel manager seems to be unconcerned. Get rid of the manager but the hotel is GREAT.

they were going to put us on the 2nd floor and there is no elevator,I didn't want upstairs so what they had opened was ground floor handicap which was alright and I didn't ask if that was all they had.If it was I had made my reservation in September so they should have had a room for us.All in all the room was alright.

Non-smoking room smelled like smoke and room had no frige, microwave, or coffee maker. [...]

I was surprised how easy the hotel was to find. And the staff was so helpful when checking in! We didn't have any problems getting an available room. There's a little road noise from the interstate, but in the room it's very quite. And I must say that the pictures don't give the rooms and hotel justice. We had a cute decent sized room with a large king sized bed. The bed was nice and firm, but the pillows made my neck hurt since they were so small and puffy. But I have to say the free breakfast was wonderful! So many things to choose from and their biscuits are the best I've had in a long time!! But that's just my opinion. ^___^ And checkout was a breeze. We just sat in the lobby and chatted a bit while waiting for our turn and then was done in a flash! So all in all, I have to give the hotel two big thumbs up for quality and service! I certainly think we'll be staying there again! XD

This was a great location, close to the Vicksburg Battlefield park with easy access to the park, shopping and restaurants.

OK.

Arrived at night and had to check in through a window. Had to slide my drivers lisence under the glass. Made me feel a little un easy. The room was nice and the price was comparably good. The bed and pillows provided were a little uncomfortable.

clean, spacious rooms....friendly and helpful staff...we got lost and called the hotel..the staff member stayed on phone with us until our safe arrival to the hotel....very friendly and helpful!!!
