Mi experiencia en el Hotel Emporio Veracruz fue muy mala. Reservé dos habitaciones con vista al mar basándome en las imágenes de Expedia, donde claramente se mostraba la vista hacia la torre de Pemex y San Juan de Ulúa. Sin embargo, al llegar me informaron que la asignación era “según disponibilidad”, lo cual nunca se especificó de forma clara. El día de mi llegada el hotel estaba lleno por un evento, pero eso no justifica la falta de organización ni la actitud del personal. Desde el inicio la atención fue hostil y sin intención de resolver; la única opción que ofrecían era reembolso. No fui el único afectado, había varios huéspedes en la misma situación. Pasamos más de una hora en recepción sin soluciones. Además, las instalaciones presentan fallas: en una habitación la regadera se desprendió; en otra no había agua fría y el sanitario no funcionaba correctamente. El mantenimiento confirmó errores previos del propio hotel. Tampoco había servicio en restaurantes por el evento, obligándonos a pedir room service. Las albercas no estaban en condiciones óptimas y la techada estaba cerrada. La atención en el Sky Lounge fue especialmente mala. En general, el personal refleja una cultura de poca hospitalidad y cero enfoque al cliente. No lo recomiendo. Es una experiencia negativa que parece ser común, no un caso aislado.

Las piscinas super si las en el Jai jayuna marca entre amarillo y verdoso horrible la calientan solo de viernes y fin y la alberca grande tiene una linea sucia de nata en la climatizada está súper sucia y ahí se meten los niños. El índice de bacterias en esa piscina es de más de 52% y lo comprobé por qué nos trajimos una botella de agua. Así que lo justo es lavar bien y deodorizar y clorar adecuadamente. No fui al spa siempre estaba lleno. El Emporio no es lo que era antes, ahora es sucio y viejo y tiene que cambiar la barra del jacuzzi siempre había niños miones y ensuciaban con comida. Lo único amable era su personal. Y para acabarla de amolar la caja perdió potencia y la abrieron con un perforador. El pobre de mantenimiento estaba muy apenado cuando es amable y no tiene la culpa. N Requieren un buen rector o gerente.

Lo que más me gustó es la atención del personal, especial la del botones Miguel Ángel, las albercas, su GYM, y las habitaciones. Lo que menos me gustó fue la relación precio calidad de la comida, el buffet es caro, y las opciones de comer(hasta los postres) vienen con demasiado aceite, todo escurriendo de grasa. Varias personas las ví saliendo a comprar otras opciones para comer.
