Venice Grand Canal Style Apt. 2 by Wonderful Italy

Wonderful apartment recently renovated, located on the second floor of a Venetian palace of the late 1700s in the heart of the historic center of Venice.



The apartment is fully furnished with designer furniture, modern-style paintings and wallpapers, and large bright windows overlooking the canal.

The accommodation consists of an entrance hall with a fully equipped open kitchen with oven, washing machine, and dishwasher; two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and the other with two single beds. Finally, a bathroom with a shower and window completes the layout.

The building does not have an elevator.



Our guests will have additional amenities such as air conditioning, a hair dryer, a toaster, and free WIFI.



* Guests can access the accommodation via a numeric code, which they can obtain only after completing the online registration of their IDs, signing the digital rent agreement, and paying the tourist tax via a payment link they will receive a few days before arrival. The code will be active starting from 3 p.m.

Compact apartment: two bedrooms and kitchen/dining room, but comfortable and well equipped. Excellent location close to vaporetto stop and local shops & restaurants. The only downside was building work on the building next door above the path to the property - sometimes noisy and dusty

The apartment was in a great location, though tough to find but that’s just google maps. The host was always quick to help and reply. The space is quite dated and could really use some TLC. The mattresses are clean, but very thin and not awesome for people who get sore backs. Everything smelled clean and the bathroom was pretty clean, though there was some hair and toothpaste stains in the sink. My biggest complaint is how dirty things were in the cracks and crevices. I pulled the dresser out because I dropped something and it was sooooo dusty and there was old food packaging. The radiators were all dusty and the walls need paint and the baseboards are dirty. Also the wallpaper is pealing off the walls in the bedroom and kitchen.

Mixed feelings

On the good side, the apartment is well located and was clean, an DC the beds were comfortable. Also, when we were able to connect with managers, they were nice and responsive. On the bad side, there is no lounge/living area, the kitchen/dining area is much smaller than appears from the photos, the air conditioning and stove top were not working, and management was hard to connect with. They do not have someone answering the phone at all times, and took up to 12 hours to answer text/emails.

This property is ideal for families like ours. My only complaint is with Wonderful Italy who bombarded us with so much advertising we missed important communication regarding actually finding the place. This made it extremely stressful when we arrived in Venice.

Good location, responsive company

The place is in a great location, and the property manager is nice. There was an issue with one of our payments not going through correctly - instead of canceling on us right as we were arriving, they called us have us re-submit. They made sure the company didn’t cancel on us due to a misunderstanding. Would stay here again
