We stayed in Venice for 3 nights after a cruise. This hotel is located near the cruise terminal and bus terminal. Since we had an early flight to catch to come home, we decided to stay close to the bus terminal (Piazzale Roma). After we arrived there, we were so glad to stay there, because water buses are always crowded and all the bridges have stairs in Venice. St. Mark's Square is about 30 minutes away on foot, and you can also take a water bus (vaporetto). We were so glad that we did not have to drag our suitcases all over the town. The facility is a typical European style, a small room but clean. The staff was very friendly, and there were a lot of restaurants nearby. We will definitely go back.

Room is slightly bigger than other Italy hotel rooms for family of four, clean, nice bed. Breakfast is worth way more than 3 euro with window views of canal. Very close to Roma Piazza bus stations, 6 minutes walk with suit cases. It can be noise in early morning with a lot of motor boats parked in the canal under windows. No instructions for how to use the in room safe lock.

We stayed here for 2 nights before a cruise. We were in a group of 5 rooms and I had emailed asking for early check in if possible and were really pleased to get it as the hotel is small and we were there by 10 a.m. The location was great - we took the bus from the airport and were just steps from the hotel. We were also right by the Vaporetto station and the people mover! Great no matter where you were going! The rooms are small, but they had free water bottles in the fridge in the closet and the breakfast room was beautiful and the breakfast really good!! I would stay here again.

We chose this hotel because of location, however it was still difficult getting our bags up over the 1 1/2 bridges to get to the hotel from Plaza Roma. Our room was very small, but comfortable and very clean. I think If we were staying for multiple nights it would have been tight as there was really no way to unpack. Our Room overlooked a canal which was delightful for our first night in Venice. We arrived mid day and the staff was very accomadating- no problems, also the day of cruise we wanted to explore more of Venice and they held our luggage until we were ready to head over to Cruise. The breakfast was good, so for a budget hotel I would recommend it,

Perfect location for a quick day and a half stop in Venice. Very close to the train station and water bus. Take the water bus up the grand canal to San Marco and walk back. Much cheaper than a water taxi. This was recommended by the front desk. Customer service was excellent as they made sure we visited all the great sites in Venice. The hotel and rooms were very clean and cozy. The free breakfast included was a great addition as well. Easy to find as well.

This is a little gem. Perfectly located. 25 - 30 minutes pleasant walk to Accademia or Rialto Bridge and very close to the Railway station and Bus station at the Piazalle Roma. It is very convenient, if you want to visit some other Veneto cities or make a transfer to the airport or Cruise Terminal. The rooms are small but clean and convenient. The service is very good. The stаff is very friendly and helpful. They have an elevator and free Wi-Fi Internet. The breakfast is tasty and diverse. Small size of the lobby and the dining room does not cause a big problem. The price , counting that it is an outstanding location in the Venice is very reasonable. I will definitely stay there again.

We were spending one night in Venice before starting a cruise, so location was the key. We took the express bus from the airport into Venice, and it delivers you to Piazzale Roma, a very large square near the cruise port. As soon as we got off the bus, I could see this hotel near one corner of the square. It was maybe a four minute walk. You do have to tote your luggage up and over a pedestrian bridge across a small canal, but that is true of virtually any hotel you choose. The staff was very nice and helpful. As is typical in Europe, the elevator is tiny and the rooms are small. When registering we were offered the chance to look at two rooms available for early check-in. We chose the larger one without the canal view. There was a bellman on duty to handle the luggage. When we left the hotel for the cruise port, we walked, pulling luggage, back across Piazzale Roma to the large white building which houses the people mover--an elevated train which takes you to the edge of the port. The price is 1 Euro per person and you buy the ticket from a machine in the terminal. From where the short train trip ends, there is still a 3 to 4 block walk to the ship. If I were starting another cruise from Venice, I would not hesitate to again stay at the Arlecchino Hotel.

The hotel was perfectly located close to the bus and people mover stop. It was clean, modern and comfortable. The rooms are small, as expected, but nicely appointed. There was a very small lobby.

good stay at this hotel. can walk to train. helpful staff, nice room and bath. very good buffett breakfast. water view. would definately go back.

What a super hotel on two Venice canals. It is even within walking distance to the bus or train. NO need to take a water taxi. It is on the west side and St. Marks Square is on the south east side. Gondola rides are cheaper from this hotel. Some rooms are a bit tight. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent Hotel, nice room, quiet and confortable. Very good breakfast included in the price. Very good location, walking distance to train station and bus station. Just remember losts of stairs in Venice, wherever you go yuo will have stairs to climb. We had a great time, very happy with Hotel Atlecchino.

If you're arriving from the cruise terminal via the People Mover, the Arlecchino is very conveniently located via a small bridge on the opposite side of the Ponte Calatrava in the Pizzale Roma bus terminal. Look for the hotel's sign (you can see it) and do not make the stupid mistake we did and cross the big bridge which takes you to the train station on the opposite side. As for the hotel, it is small but charming with a tiny lobby, and a tiny two person elevator. Our room was on the third floor via the lift, through the winding hallways and up a flight of stairs. 32" flat screen TV, a rather hard mattress, large, modern bath room with bidet (should you care), and a nice view. A satisfactory breakfast was included on the morning of our departure. As an added extra, the room began shaking and then swaying for a good fifteen seconds at around 4am on the morning of May 20, 2012. Being from California, I couldn't believe I was spending my one night in Venice experiencing an earthquake!. Another one for the memory book.

The hotel was just perfect for our needs. Close to the airport and the seaport. The staff was able to direct us around the city for the best experiences at the best price!! Although the hotel and it's rooms are very tiny, the cleanliness, decor and views more than make up for that!!! We were so grateful to have this same hotel and room to return to after our cruise. HIghly recommend, loved, loved our visit!!

It was in a perfect location for getting around Venice, Cruise Treminal. By the bus station which we didn't find a problem, we got the #5 bus from the airport to the hotel no problem.Piaza Roma everything went from there. Room very small but, had a lovely view. My sister booked the same hotel with us and had to be sent to the Olympia - best western which was owned by the same company - Our choice would be the Best Western Olympia next door bigger rooms a garden area and a proper hotel reception. We had neither of these. Breakfast good.

Staff are very pleasant, hotel is located right near the Roma bus pickup for excellent convenience to airport. It is located on corner of two canals - very scenic setting. Rooms are clean, etc, but very small. Not as advertised. Two in our party were given rooms in the next door partner hotel, Olimpide, which is nicer with larger rooms.

Small rooms and bathrooms, good location to P. Roma, friendly staff. Good for the price, but I did travel in late march early april.

We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights in February 2012. Very good location. We took the bus from the airport and back and it is within 5 minutes walk from the bus station as well as the train station and the vaporetto. Very clean room and hotel. Super good breakfast included (eggs, cheeses, bread, yougourt etc..) Nice reception people who will help and suggest places to eat for you if you want. We walked to San Marco square taking different routes every day (45min to 1hr walk). You can take the vaporetto if you do not like to walk. Good for the price. Loved it. I would go back.

We had booked a hotel near Piazzale Roma to be near airport and cruise transport, but from looking at Google map we thought we might have to search a little to find it. Imagine our relief when we looked up from getting our bags off the airport shuttle and saw the hotel sign from where we were standing! Rooms were comfortable, bathrooms clean, breakfast was good. Marco at the front desk was great - answered our myriad questions and helped with everything we needed. Would definitely stay again.

If you like to walk or take the water bus (expensive), this is the hotel for you. It is at a great location, just a bridge from Piazzale Roma. We had a fairly good size room with an OK cleanliness. The male staff at the front desk was very helpful. The breakfast was great with a faily amount of choises. The breakfast room was comfortable with white table cloth and the server was very helpful. We enjoyed our stay there. We will go back there anytime.

Great location, Friendly staff spoke good English Would stay there again next time in Venice.
