Perfect location by the Gigolo water bus pontoon and so close to all the eateries and major tourist hotspots. 5 mins from San Marco Plaza and 10 from the Peggy Guggenheim. The breakfast very adequate and in a great room. Our room was amazing...the best room we've had for a long time. Room to swing a large tiger. Cannot really fault it. It's entertaining that at high tide you sometimes have to wade to get to the front door though 😀

Just got back from a two night stay with my boyfriend for his birthday and we are both left feeling abit disappointed. The room was ok but not as expected, it was a lot smaller than anticipated, the bed and pillows were very hard and we couldn't find a plug hole for the bath!! (Imagine that after traveling all day :( ) there was also a large hole dug out of the floor at the side of the bed and the bed frame was absolutely filthy. I am also disappointed as I was told we would find a bottle of proseccco and birthday wishes for my boyfriend of which there was none. My last complaint is that there was a kettle with one tea bag no milk and no mugs??? Which I would defiantly expect to find when they are changing as much as they are. Overall the hotel was nice and pleasant but definitely not worth the money, you are just paying for the location which is a great location and the receptionist was very nice and helpful showing us the maps.

I have booked long in advance. I did not foresee that I will become ill. They totally refused to let me have my money back. My advice: DO NOT bock with this hotel, whether you are ill, had an accident or worse. They don't give you your money back. Knowing that you will not come they might give your room to someone else, making double the money at your expense. They always have people requesting a room. This is a rip-off.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week's stay at Locanda Barbarigo. The hotel is Ideally located in a quiet area, near to the Vaporetto, Fenice Theatre, St. Marks' Square and restaurants. The room, one of two smaller ones, was very comfortable, feeling like staying at someone's home rather than a bustling hotel. The three staff we met were all helpful and informative. Breakfast for us, was good and filled us for the day ahead. There is a limited manned reception but this was not detrimental. It would have been preferable to have had at least one English Speaking TV channel and reception was spasmodic. We would certainly stay here again for future visits.

Charming hotel with a unforgatable view for the channel. Venice is very expensive and this hotel had a medium price. To many steps to reach the room, it could be a limitation for some people. Simple breakfast

Great location - 5/10 minute walk to St Marks Square and Rialto bridge. Easy to get to by water bus from airport (Orange line - Santa Maria del Giglio stop) Nice, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast was nice but limited choice.

We loved this hotel, it was in the centre of Venice, only a very short walk from San Marco. Had many shops and restaurants surrounding it and was very easy to find. The room was small and basic, but was very clean and quiet to sleep in at night. The only thing missing was an ironing board and an iron, and the room did get slightly cold at night. However I would still definitely stay here again the next time we come to Venice

This hotel is amazingly good. The staff are super friendly, The breakfast was fresh, Nice big and Spacious room... You really get what you’re paying for! The beds we’re very great, Air conditioned too! (If you want it to be). The bathroom was very big and spacious too! Its also very easy to cook. You can visit with friends, Family and for Business. Completely soundproof rooms! The best part about the hotel is the adventure that you can get, There is a open wind mall right near the hotel, Shopping is not a problem! A lot of designer clothing stores nearby too! (Gucci, Versace, Armani and more). Overall this is a very great hotel!

Nice hotel perfect location. Clean and quiet room and good air conditioning. The breakfast wasn't very good unfortunately, Hardly any fresh products and only sweet bread and the coffee/tea maker wasn't what you would expect in Italy

Although small, this hotel is ideal for a stay in Venice. It is exactly how you would imagine a Venetian hotel to be - cosy, friendly and with lots of character. The staff were very friendly, the room was beautiful with lovely views of the canal, and absolutely tidy. Only downfall is that breakfast choice is very limited, but located so close to San Marco you are surrounded by cafes and restaurants.
