This is a lovely boutique hotel - easy to get to and also near the quieter area of the city. Two of the best chiccetti bars are close. Lovely breakfast. The only issue is noise - don't get a room in the front as the street is very busy.
My partner and I spent two nights at the Arcadia and loved every minute of it, the staff were wonderful and made us feel incredibly welcome. The room was lovely and certainly not too small for a boutique hotel in Venice. Definitely going back again!
Very nice! The room was definitely very European in that it was small, especially the bathroom. But it was very clean and nicely decorated. Breakfast was amazing! The cappuccino was the best I've had in Italy!
I spent six nights here and it was a really enjoyable stay. The hotel is genuinely boutique - small, personal, beautifully furnished, and with great care given to all aspects of service and comfort. Located in Cannaregio, close to the Guglie mooring point (and therefore very convenient for transport to and from the airport), it is tricky to spot from the street (I walked past it twice before I found the entrance!) but once you get inside the welcome is warm. It is a bit of a walk to San Marco and some of the other major sights but it's close to several vaporetto stops and the surrounding area is lovely to explore. I had a single room (hooray for hotels that don't make solo travellers pay double) that was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There is excellent free wifi. Breakfast is a lovely buffet with a great selection and the lounge/bar is gorgeous. All the staff were a delight - their only concern seemed to be that they couldn't do enough to help me! Nothing was too much trouble and the service was both friendly and unobtrusive. The room was spotless, too - great housekeeping. Heartily recommended and thanks to all for making my stay so perfect.
A beautiful bespoke hotel in a great location. They have gone to great lengths to fit out the interior hotel, and both the room and common areas were very visually appealing. Great bathrooms - was so glad to finally have a proper shower after travelling in Switzerland! The staff were professional, attentive and friendly. The breakfast had a good range with great coffee. The room was a little bit noisy early in the morning due to the street vendors setting up for the day, but this can't be helped by the hotel. Just bring some ear plugs if you want a lie in. Recommend for facilities and location, being close enough to walk to the train station but away enough from the horses of other tourists so you can relax a bit.
We stayed two nights during Carnivale. We were in a room at the front and needless to say it was noisy. But that was no fault of the hotel. Since I live in NYC, it was not unusual, but could be for someone not used to noise outside of their window. We picked the hotel due to its easy walk from the train station. The directions were easy to follow as long as you paid attention. The entrance was merely a doorway on the street. The front desk personnel were helpful and we were able to obtain vaporetta passes as well as excellent restaurant advice from them. The room was comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. The breakfast had a large selection of fruits, meats, cheeses, pastries, and beverages and were included in the price of the room. I would recommend the hotel and would return there in the future. Internet was included in the price of the room as well. A great coffee shop next door.
Stayed 2 nights at the Arcadia, excellent location, room was lovely and was clean, breakfast was great and the staff were all so polite and helpful, will definitely return when we come back to Venice!
We arrived in the morning from the Paris sleeper. Bags were placed in our room for later and we were treated to complimentary coffee and croissants. Nothing was too much trouble. Room and facilities were fantastic. 8 min walk with heavy rucksacks to railway station. We will be back. Thank you Arcadia.
We stayed for 6 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Room was a bit small but perfectly clean and well maintained. Fine breakfast with good choice. Great internet connection. Staff very pleasant and helpful with anything you need. Plenty of bars and restaurants near by. Walking distance to train and bus connections. Vaporetta stop close by also. Would recomend if you are staying in the Cannaregio area of Venice.
We stayed for 3 nights in the Arcadia hotel in a superior double room. Nicely decorated, very clean and big shower room. The options for breakfast were very good and would suit all tastes. The neighbourhood is hustle and bustle in a good way with lots of places to eat and drink at reasonable prices. The hotel booked us a water taxi from the airport at the city rate of £110 euros and the charming Lorenzo on reception recommended a fab restaurant just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. We would happily return to this hotel where the staff were attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
