Wow what a way to see such an historic and romantic city. Everything was perfect from the sunny and hot weather throughout to soaking up the sights of this fabulous city. The hotel Arcadia is the perfect place to stay in Canneregio Nothing is too much trouble...perfect service 11 out of 10. Daniel has been awesome. Always helpful with tips for places to see and to eat... helped make our stay so special. From high end restaurants with perfect views to places where real locals eat. Superb. All the staff go out of their way to make sure you have a great time. We will definitely be back !!
We arrived at the Arcadia to a warm welcome. Perfectly situated in the heart of Cannaregio. The hotel is elegant and we had an amazing night sleep every night Breakfast is a delight. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the superior room with the queen size bed was well worth the extra. The night manager Daniel was so helpful and his recommendations for dinner and getting around the city were invaluable. He is an asset to the hotel and customer service is outstanding. Thanks so much Daniel for making our stay magical
We stayed two nights in the Arcadia Boutique Hotel and it was perfect. The hotel is a short 15 minute walk from the train station. We arrived prior to check in time but were able to access our room early upon arrival. The young woman at check in was very professional, kind and patient explaining the hotel and provided us a map and pointed out the location of sights from our hotel. She explained the Vaporetto pass options and we were able to purchase passes directly from the hotel. Our room was great. It had a king size bed and the bathroom was large with a large walk in rain shower. My wife said the toiletries provided were upscale. Our room overlooked the street in front of the hotel and had large windows that we opened to enjoy the fresh air and hear the city passing by us below. The room also had air conditioning which we used during the day when it got warm. The hotel is a short ten minute walk to the San Marcuolo/casino Vaporetto stop which was very convenient. Breakfast was plentiful and offered many options. The young woman tending the breakfast was helpful and cleared used plates as we finished. Overall we were very pleased with this hotel and would highly recommend it to those looking for a very nice and convenient hotel in Venice.
There are literally a thousand hotels in Venice, so where do you begin? I decided to go with location... a very quick walk from the train station (though far enough away so you would never know you were so close) and also convenient to a couple Valporetto stops. This hotel did not disappoint. The service from the hotel staff was amazing. Willing to help with recommendations and directions, and everyone was so kind and made us feel so welcome. We also purchased the 2day pass for the water taxi right from the reception desk. Rooms were very nice. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was newly redone and very modern. Breakfast was excellent. I would absolutely choose this hotel again when visiting Venice.
We came for 2 nights at the beginning of February, what a lovely place, beautifully decorated throughout, room was brilliant, staff were really nice and helpful, breakfast amazing, i really cannot fault it. I will return and i wont be staying anywhere else.
me and my family just spend 3 days in Venice at arcadia hotel and i can say we loved the place even more . this time my sister join us to and she did fall in love. the hotel is beautiful and in a great location a beautiful walk to san marco , just outside the hotel there are fruit stalls plenty of restaurants and shops but that is not what makes this place unique what make this place one of a kind is the people everyone was amazing. the reception staff were always there with a smile (ilaria thank you )a special mention also to the night receptionist on our first day he was super kind and helped us with our bags the people in the breakfast room were amazing and always remembered the coffee a we had the previews day also breakfast was so tasty and plenty to choose from and last but not least Luigi your attention to details is amazing you know i love your amazing place and i will be back as soon as possible you were lovely like always and my hero you know why.
Comfortable and stylish room, although some drawers would have been welcome. Modern bathroom with nice touches including good quality soaps etc. Dressing gowns and slippers provided. Effective heating! Being at the front, there was some noise from outside but it wasn't too inconvenient. Extensive self-service breakfast which was generally very good. Comfortable and attractive lounge. The service was excellent, our host Daniele was so helpful and his recommendations for restaurants etc, were all perfect for us. If we return to Venice, we would try to stay here.
We were pleasantly surprised by our choice of hotel. Greeted warmly and always available to help whenever we had any questions. Lovely room but no tea and coffee facilities which was a little disappointing. We assumed that we would be able to get tea and coffee in the breakfast area during the day/evening but was not allowed. Great breakfast with lots of variety. Unfortunately on our 3rd day it rained from 7am until midnight so was unable to go on a Gondola which was disappointing. Went to Harrys Bar which is where Ernest Hemingway created the Bellini. At 21 euros for a drink it had to be something else, which it was but was made to feel sooooo inferior to the other clientele that it became quite awkward. Beware anyone who has any mobility problems, there are hundreds of bridges to cross every day you will find it difficult and sometimes impossible. We enjoyed my birthday trip but the weather did put a damper on things (no pun intended). The restaurant directly next to the hotel served amazing italian cuisine. All in all a lovely trip.
I picked this hotel mainly because of its location - within walking distance of the station and just round the corner from the Guglie Alilagina and Vaporetto stop - but it proved to be much more than a convenient bolt-hole. Very comfortable rooms with very well equipped bathrooms, even the single I had for one night, very quiet, very friendly and accommodating staff, and an excellent breakfast served in a palatial lounge complete with chandelier. would definitely stay there again.
Stayed at Arcadia Boutique Hotel for 2 nights in Feb and it was honestly a pleasure of a stay. I searched through so many hotels in Venice and chose Arcadia because it looked modern and clean and it didn’t disappoint. The room was incredibly comfortable and well-equipped – great beds and bedding, the rain shower was excellent with Roberto Cavalli body products and fluffy towels, air con/heating controls, tea and coffee making facilities, slippers, bathrobe and an ok hairdryer. wifi was also great and available throughout the hotel. There was no view from our room but we were out all day that we didn’t need to sit and look out of the window when we got back to the room, all we wanted to do was relax! It was also nice and quiet in the hotel so I had 2 great-night’s sleep. The breakfast was substantial – cooked breakfast or continental and set us up for the day. Location-wise, it’s great. The hotel is a 100m walk from the Alilaguna airport water taxi stop (Guglie – orange line) in a more ‘locals’ area and a very nice 30min walk through lots of shops, restaurants, cafés and supermarkets to the main tourist hotspots. It seems like a long walk but it’s really pleasant and there is so much to see along the way. The owner, Ilaria on reception and Galia in the restaurant are very kind and happy to chat and provide guidance on where to go and what to do. I really enjoyed staying at Arcadia and loved coming back after a long day of sight-seeing. Well worth it. (Small tip for any Venice traveller, when you leave, if you’re catching the Alilaguna water taxi back to the airport, plan extra time as they can get full and you might not get on the one you want and they only come every 30mins!!)
