Great location, very close to the train station. Which is very convenient if you are traveling multiple cities. Not very expensive, besides it was peak season and the colazione was include it. My only recommendation would be: buy a new mattress.
The hotel is intimate and hidden in i a small alleyway. It is quiet. The rooms are individually decorated in an old fashioned way. My room had a glass lamp lokking like it was from the 18th century, wall carpets in silk etc. The staff is extremely kind and helpful. Breakfast room is rather small.
Quiet hotel close to the train station of santa Lucia in the heart of Venice. Perfect if you have few days to spend in the city and you want to get the most of it.. close to the main attractions and shops. We got a good deal and they offered us a free upgrade! Room was OK. Recommended if your goal is to visit the city.
We spent 2 nights in Venice and decided to book this hotel because it is close to the train and bus station (as we are taking a bus out from Venice). We found the hotel by using gps (the wonders of Internet nowadays) and it was a great decision because it's not packed as other areas and souvenir shopping here is much cheaper. We are surprised that Halal and vegan restaurants are just nearby too. Fabiola the receptionist greeted us ever so warmly and helped us getting our big bag upstairs (it's just one floor up anyway). Her clear instructions on how to get to places and bus stations etc helped us an awful lot. She always went out of her way to help us. Thank you!! The downside is perhaps that our room floor is not carpeted thus it is really cold to step on the marbled floor. Also, the breakfast is pretty simple. Other than that, everything is satisfying. We pretty much enjoyed our stay because it's Venice we want to see, not the hotel.
Location is relatively quiet. The room is older, quaint and small. Bathroom had that high-walled tub to get into when taking a shower. No elevator. We felt it was overpriced for what it offers, but then it is in Venice where lots of things are overpriced.
We spent two nights in a family room in this cute hotel in Venice. It was small but cosy and full of Venetian character, with brocade-lined walls and a sweet little balcony. The breakfast included was generous. The location is very convenient: just a short walk from the station, yet being set off the main road in a narrow little calle, it was peaceful and quiet. A great base to explore this magical city. A big highlight was the friendly and helpful staff. They gave us great advice on getting around and made us feel very much at home. Grazie mille!
Okay so I came to Venice with a friend to see what it had to offer us in terms of architecture and what not. We picked this hotel because it was reasonably priced and in a perfect location. The hotels decor is very interesting, walking into our room it felt like I was in some sort of time warp. So much colour I felt like it was blinding me, but very cool, everything in the room matched. We missed breakfast everyday unfortunately as we decided to have quite a few beverages each night so I can't comment on that. But the hotel staff were very lovely and well done to the guy who stays around at night and sleeps at reception. Must be annoying to have us coming in at 4/5am each day! Overall, a good experiance and would 100% stay here again, just because it's in a great place to see Venice and get on the coaches back to the airport.
We stayed here for 4 nights, we picked here as the location was perfect for our needs. It was easy to find and an easy base to tour Venice. We were greeted on arrival with a smile and made welcome, we waited for around 5 minutes. The room was Venetian decor and clean, as it was a base to tour it suited our needs perfectly. The hotel provided hand soap and sachets of shower gel and shower caps, towels were also provided. Our room was tended to daily. The only niggle we would say was where the air con was positioned but we realised it had to go where it was due to the aesthetics from outside, it didn't really cool the bed area just the walkway into the room and bathroom. Breakfast was typically continental with pasty, bread for toasting, ham and cheese, yogurts, cakes and a machine for coffee. If you arrive by bus there is only one bridge to navigate with luggage and that takes you in front of the station and you just follow the street along, pass bar Brek then entrance to the alley is opposite a patisserie. There is a small osteria just up from the hotel where a beer and prosecco will cost €6 for the 2. We would recommend staying here.
Good selection of breakfast, lovely design in rooms. Comfy beds and perfect location. Air con works very well well! Clean and spotless room with a hidden mini bar. Only downside was there was no tea and coffee facilties in the room and the air con flashes. But this made no real difference to our perfect stay. Staff are so friendly and helpful.
Lovely, typically Italian small hotel. Great decor. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with coffee, orange juice, cereal, yogurt, cold meats, toast, croissants etc. Beds very comfortable and rooms air conditioned. Very good value. Centrally located so very convenient yet very quiet. Would highly recommend.
