Aug 10th /18th 2016. This is the second time we've stayed at the Hotel Villa Cipro.Just like the first time the staff are friendly and speak excellent English .The hotel is very clean and tidy and the breakfast is as good as anywhere where we've stayed in Italy . But like others have mentioned , the air conditioning was broke all the time we were there and it really was unbearable in the heat which reached 34deg during the day .The staff did all they could to help but we had no choice but to move hotels for the last few days of the holiday . I would definitely come back to stay but the air con needs to be sorted first .
We stayed here for 3 nights, with my kids (10 & 13). Staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms and hotel was clean, the breakfast buffett was very nice as well. The location is really confeniant, a short walk to the beach and the vaporetto. Around the corner, on the main street (Elisabetta) are sone very good restaurants, pizza places and Ice cream to be had. We will stay here again. Mille Grazie to Hotel Villa Cipro.
We stayed at hotel Villa Cipro for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was friendly, rooms nice and clean, and the hotel is within short walking distance to the vaporettas and also the beach. Only minus about the hotel is that the air conditioning were not functioning well
Hotel was Just off the main walk way and easy to walk to from main water bus stop. Near lots of restaurants and a lovely bars/ coffee shops. Nice large room with king size bed. Firm matress no waking with a bad back in the morning ! Fridge in room was a bonus . Breakfast was very basic. Good size bathroom. Our room was on the ground floor oposit the reception desk and could be a little noisey first thing in the morning as other guests were checking out of the hotel. Air conditioning not working , and there was no mention of it being fixed, room was very hot in May dread to think how hot it would be a the height of summer !
Hotel Villa Cipro - Beautiful place to stay, minutes and central for the Beach, shops, restaurants and bars. Stayed in a lovely room, the buffet breakfast offered good choices. Friendly staff. We would most certainly go back there. Only a short waterbus ride away if you want to visit the beautiful Venice.
My husband and I have just returned from a fabulous break in venice lido we stayed at villa cipro the staff were friendly and very helpful .the hotel very clean and perfectly situated near to beach and the water bus .couldnt fault it .thank you to Christina and Joanna for making our stay so lovely Mr and Mrs James from Manchester .
It's a nice hotel with pilot staff. The room is clean and decent with average size. Breakfast was buffet style but in terms of choice of food, it's a bit limited. The hotel is just 5 mins walk from the pier of Lido island and nearby there are plenty of good restaurants and shops. It's still a nice choice to stay here.
Great location, it was nice to be on lido and away from the bustle of venice, with a waterbus that gets you there so quickly. Nice breakfasts, overall it is what it says it is, a three star hotel. For the price worth it, especially since venice is to be explored outside. Oh, and wifi didnt work. That would be nice for hotel to look at. Oversll we were very very happy.
This clean quiet hotel just a few minutes walk to water taxis to San Marco Square is Tops !!! Keeps one away from the tourists on an overcrowded Venice Island.... The wide sidewalks, great restaurants, bars, supermarket, Ice cream places makes for a lot less hectic stay than in the midst of it all .....Easy access to enjoy all the attractions in Venice, and other islands... My first trip to Venice so to decide to stay in the midst of it all or tackle it each day via water taxi was a big decision.... We were so glad we chose to stay on Lido as it reminded us a bit of 'Double Bay' in Sydney with all the fun restaurants, courteous people, wide street and all the amenities one needs close at hand.... Returning to a friendly hotel in a quiet area was a treat !!
I stayed at Villa Cipro for 3 days. Pros 1) Easy to access 2) very calm and silent place 3) Good complimentary breakfast 4) 5 mins walk to boat station 5) Lots of cafes, restaurants, bars and a supermarket nearby. 6) 2 mins walk to beach. 7) Good service and helpful receptionists. Cons 1) Just an average room, not very stylish and jazzy. 2) Wifi was not free and they charged 10 Euros which I never faced in any of the hotels I stayed at Europe.
