Walking distance to St.Mark's square and other great places. Convenient water bus ride to the hotel from airport and train station.

The only bad thing about this hotel is the extra small shower! Everything else was wonderful!

the room was very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. it is in a great location two minutes away from Saint Marks. to find the hotel from the train station take the water taxi to the Rialto stop. once you exit the water taxi immediately turn right and walk along the calle until you see a stone in the sidewalk that reads Restaurant Antica Carbonara. at that calle turn left. this is the street the hotel is on.

The hotel is located near st. marcus square which is very convenient, the room was very small, the shower cubicle is too small for an average build person. The small breakfast place could not handle the number of guests.

Just a great place to stay - room was very clean - nothing fancy but just what is needed. The staff great and the location ideal. It was very quiet. I would definitely stay here again.

the worst ever hotel we have ever stayed in our entire lives. Our room key (magnetic) did not work. After a long flight we were tired, but had to deal with this problem with the front desk who did not speak English. After long explanation when they understood the problem, they gave us the master key, which we had to return to the reception every time we went into our room and when we left the room too. It was the 31st Dec night, and we were in a hurry to get ready and go to dinner, and when we were doing just that, suddenly the ceiling just above the master bed started leaking, and splashing water all over the computer which was on the bed directly under the water leak! We again contacted the front desk and lost a lot of time explaining, and finally it stopped leaking. But what they said to us was that it was an ancient building and when guests from above us use the shower it may leak downstairs! What an excuse! We were so inconvenienced and wasted so much precious time. We need to be compensated and want our money back.

The hotel in general was ok. It's location is great. Finding the hotel at first was difficult, specially walking with all the luggage. The shower is very small (approx: 2' x 2' feet). The rooms are victorian style decorated. There is no variety in the breakfast, mostly bread and coffee. The wireless internet cost 8 euros.

This hotel was simply fantastic. Everything you need for an amazing trip experience in Venice. The location of the hotel was perfect and I would recommend staying here to anyone! Very satisfied customer :)

Very easy directions to get there (getting lost in Venezia is VERY easy). Super location, and very good breakfast.

FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL HOTEL STAFF CLEAN ROOM DIRTY CARPET CLEAN BATHROOM THE BATH TUB WAS WITHOUT CURTAINS OR DOORS, MY WIFE FELL IN IT BECAUSE THE BATH TUB WATER-DRAIN WAS BLOCKED. NON FLEXIBLE BREAKFAST

We arrived by train at night and the hotel was a bit hard for us to find as there were no water taxis less than 50 Euro and the shops were all closing up making it difficult to find people to ask for directions. (Beware if you ask directions—everyone will say, "Just go straight. Be sure to just keep going straight!"—you will soon find there are very few "straight" passages in Venice!). However, once we finally found our way to the hotel we were warmly greeted and shown to a lovely, nicely appointed, very clean room. Breakfast, included with the price of the room, the next morning was wonderful with many choices both hot and cold. And, again, the staff present was incredibly gracious and fun to visit with. The only thing we noted was an odor in the main staircase hall, both the evening we checked in and in the morning. Otherwise, we found the hotel to be clean and very comfortable.

Booked this hotel after seeing pictures posted on the web. The rooms and facilities were nowhere near the pictures. The location however was pretty good, very close to San Marco, dining and shopping.

A year ago,one of our friends, organized the cruise and 18 of us signed up.One was assigned to surf in the internet for hotels, and yours was the cheapest. We were most welcomed by the staff. The front desk Manager,[...] was very helpful.Breakfast was great not to mention the servers who spoke the same language with us.Next to the hotel was a restaurant that we loved so much. Most of the employees were from our country, too. They pampered us with special service.Overall, everything was great.I would definetly recommend to friends.

perfect location for us, short walking distance to San Marco square, shopping areas, dining areas. we highly recommend this hotel to everyone and has free breakfast just like some hotels in america.

It was a fun stay with my group. Rooms are just rightfor two people. I found our room very comfortable compared to my previous tour to Europe in 1997. Breakfast was superb, staff were highly trained. [...] and [...] were so friendly and helpful. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends who will visit Venice.

A nice, clean hotel just off of the Piazza San Marco. Rooms are not large by any means, but they were comfortable and fairly quiet. The staff was very nice as well.

Proxity to La Fenice and the Rialto vaporetto station were the major positives of the hotel, permitting sightseeing and music program enjoyment. We avoided spending much time in our over-priced hotel as it offered so little in terms of comfort or quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

This was a nice place, not far from the sites and comfortable. Not cheap - but then nothing really is in Venice. My biggest disappointment was the front desk staff. Being our first time in Venice I would have like to have our first encounter to be with someone welcoming, to point us in the best direction, offer suggestions, etc. (we managed fine) but that wasn't the way.

The hotel was in a great location. It was 2 minutes from the Rialto Bridge and 2 minutes the other way from San Marco Square, two prime locations to visit in Venice. It was a great experience and I would definitely go back and stay there.

It was superb! [...], especially was great!
