Abdu, reception was horrible in every way Dirty room, was not cleaned and towels on floor and garbage not collected. Nothing available at hotel if info or Asst

The hotel room was small but comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and very eager to please. Breakfast that was included was wonderful. The rooms are bit dark. The hotel is near a bus station that takes you to near downtown Venice.

Pretty good , Decent. No complaints. Perfect for single or a couple. Good continental breakfast. Nice fireplace when eating.

We stayed here one night after a cruise because of the free shuttle to the airport in the morning. When I called the hotel for a shuttle to their hotel, they stated that these arrangements need to made a couple of weeks in advance. Seriously!!!! I cost me 40 euros each way via taxi to get to the airport. I would've spent the extra money on a different hotel if I had known. The hotel was blunt in saying it was my responsibility, zero customer service. Nowhere on their website does it say to book a shuttle in advance. I do not recommend.

Staying in Mestre is great if you don't want to pay Venice hotel prices. There's an excellent restaurant within walking distance and the bus takes you to Venice in an OK amount of time. Keep in mind, though, that San Marco Square is about a 50-minute walk from where the bus drops you. Room was tiny with no space between the bed and wall. It was fine but not somewhere I'd want to spend any time.

We have a rental car and were looking for accommodations that offered parking and easy access to transportation to the island.........Ducale Hotel was it! Perfectly located to bus lines 19 and 4 which take about 25 minutes to reach the island. The rooms are typical for Italy, but clean and comfortable. There is a small TV with SKY cable, nice safe that has a code instead of key. Breakfast is a very nice spread offering most everything you need to start a wonderful day in Venice! Additionally, the entire staff was FANTASTIC.....friendly and very helpful. If you're looking for a reasonable alternative to the island.......this is a PERFECT spot!

Just an overnight between flights. Air conditioning was not very cool.

staff are friendly, room is clean. It is also cheap but a little bit far away.

Great price. Very good breakfast. Close to Marco Polo Airport. The room was small even by European standards. If you pay on line, be aware of the room tax that was not included in what I paid on line. The hotel insists that it be paid in cash which was a problem for me since I only had enough Euros left to pay for the van to the airport (15 euros)

Needed directions from the Island of Venezia. They offered the correct bus number and the correct stop. The people at the bus station could not help us. I am very grateful I contacted the staff about this. We also needed a taxi to the airport. It was reasonable, and the driver was safe. Most travellers have scary stories travelling in a taxi. We needed our luggage stored for a few hours after check out, and they allowed us to do so. Their English was easily understandable, and they made every effort to communicate in English, vs. Italian. I did not expect the level of fluency. They also allowed my daughter a pastry and yogurt before she left for her 5am travel time to the airport.

Very bad. Check-in was fine. Second staff comes on and it was so bad we slept at airport and did not use this hotel. This hotel is far away from everything, shuttle to airport was mis-leading as price was not fixed and they wanted up to 30 euros per person. Bus line 5 to Airport one must go back to Plaza Roma, so in fact this hotel is not user friendly for aiport. Buses stop running at 18k and one must go back to Rail, Ship and plaza roma which makes this hotel a very poor choice to stay at. Staff swore at me when I mentioned that morning staff quoted lower shuttle price than her. BAD!BAD!BAD!

Had a room for three that was more suitable for two in size. Arrived at 7:30 PM and found the restaurant closed, so had to walk a few blocks to find a good family restaurant. Cost of taxi from airport was 27 Euros for 4.5 miles and the cost of the shuttle arranged by the hotel back to airport was 30 Euros. No shulltle service available from airport, and we were under the impression from the description that the shuttle went both ways and would be free. Suggest you stay closer to the airport and pay more for the room to get free shuttle service.

We arrived much later than expected due to connecting flight issues but were greeted very pleasantly by the night staff. Breakfast was good with a nice variety to choose from. The only flaw was there was no air conditioning making the temperature of the room somewhat uncomfortable for sleeping.

If you are accustomed to Air conditioning in hot weather, don't stay here after October 1st since they turn of the A/C in all rooms. Our stay was miserable without A/C. We had to sleep with the window open to get a little relief around midnight. The front desk clerk just said they were sorry. Our stay a week earlier was better since it was still September. The shower is tiny as is the elevator. Shuttle service is reasonable to cruise port and airport. Free breakfast and Wi-Fi are a plus.

The room was uncomfortable and in order to not waste money, the hotel turns of the ENTIRE air conditioning through out the hotel. What you get is a little window to open in 90 degree weather. If you want to die of heat feel free to go anytime during the fall or winter time. They give edible breakfast and the staff is good. Everything else not recommendable is, and NO AIR CONDITIONING because of the season.

Nice hotel about 20 minutes from the heart of Venice. Right beside the tram that gets you to the bus station to venice. Small little elevator but worked great, nice bathrooms and tall ceilings with satilite tv (ESPN AMERICA!). Only bad thing is they use twin beds that have old springs and if you want a double, they move them together.

It was a perfect place to stay for one night before our early morning flight. The staff (Anne) were super friendly, in-room internet was fast and great, and the dinner at the restaurant was reasonably priced and good. In the morning there was coffee and rolls before we left (at 5:30 in the morning) and the shuttle was there in time. I think we made the right choice and would recommend it to anyone for a brief stay. For a longer stay it may not be so convenient, especially if you need to spend some time in the room as it was quite small, but it did have a really nice size and very clean bathroom. Thank you for making our stay so convenient and comfortable. One more thing, I emailed with the hotel several times for directions, etc., and the response was always immediate and very helpful.

I booked this hotel with the impression that it is close to Venice. It isn't. It is 20 - 35 mins. depending in which route you take. I wasn't satisfied. By the time you pay for hotel and transportatn you might as well stay CLOSER to Venice.
