We stayed there as part of a group, so it was not our choice but still I was expected more than we really got. First of all the location is not suitable at all if you don't have a car. Rooms are so poor furnished, things around are over used, you just want to leave not to be depressed. Then, the breakfast: paper cups, filthy tables, that says everything! Though I do appreciated that reception's staff was helpful and very polite. Summing up, I would not recommend this hotel to a friend of mine.

We stayed here one night during a tour with 2 adults and 1 teen. The hotel is out of the way but is well equipped. There is a gym and a rather large outdoor pool. There aren't many dining or shopping choices nearby so advice would be to buy while you are out and bring back to the hotel. Across the road is a steakhouse. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but we did have a drink at the bar which had a nice atmosphere. Room was clean and spacious and the wifi was good.

Stayed here for 2 nights for business. The front desk staff was helpful and friendly. Rooms are clean though you will realize he age upon inspection ( well worn TV and bathroom fixtures). Internet was fast and allowed for good video conferencing. Housekeeping was thorough. Areas for the hotel to consider improvements include: - shower worked the first day but not on the second day - had to fiddle with the TV power plug to get it to turn on - nespresso machine didn't turn on. Had to get hotel to come and fix it (fuse?) - hotel food quality was well below average and some staff were not polite. I nearly got into a fight while searching for slat and pepper to bring back to my table. Scrambled eggs were horrible. Brown Bread would run out and not be replaced had bread and yoghurt. Fruit ran out and was not replaced.

A hotel with a car park which can be secured. We stayed 3 nights this Novotel lets its self down. Miscommunication on arrival with patience sorted out on both sides. Room good. Food poor dinner terrible small ? Hamburger of not very good quality. Breakfast no vouchers no breakfast dinning room staff not helpful took 20 mins to sort out with staff at the main desk returned to dinning room not much food left charged for full breakfast. Good staff on front desk sorted issues out at the end of the day. Was very frustrating. Bar staff also great as well as front desk.

I was sent to this hotel when my flight from Venice was cancelled by the airline and can not rate this hotel higher than poor. Rooms are ok but the bed is just horrible. I can not recall that I have ever slept in hotel where there was a plastic sheet underneath the bed sheet. A thick horrible contraption that moves so the surface you sleep on is uneven and very hot and sweaty. It might protect the mattresses more but not all of your guests are incontinent or under 3 yrs old and in need of a nappy. Add to this bad service and poor meal in the restaurant ( the worst Parma ham I have eaten in Italy instead of lovely thin slices I got hacked off tiny pieces and the melon was hard) overpriced even if it had been good. and this is most certainly not a hotel I will return to, in fact it has put me off the whole Novotel chain.

Good structure, with parking and even dog-run-free-zone. But the personnel is, unfortunately not what you might expect from professionals at Novotel. We arrived very late (4 in the morning) from a long distance trip. That's why we phoned before and arranged a late check-out at 2 PM, to get some sleep. This info was thought not transmitted to next day's reception staff, so that they called us shortly after 12 AM, to ask why we would not check out... Our sleep was harshly interrupted, and there was only a half hearted "sorry" at the reception when I brought up the issue later. No compensation. Cleaning staff were very loud in the alley. No caddy available for our baggage. I had to ask reception to search one for us in the hotel. It came, but to a wrong room. I only spotted the porter by chance, knocking at the opposite door... No good experience at all, staff seemed to be very young and disoriented.

Novotel's are my preferred hotel for family holidays. So it was an easy choice when visiting Venice during the summer with three nights four star accommodation for the equivalent price of one night in central Venice. The location is easy to find, being close to the motorway. Parking was free at the front of the property. The rooms are clean and well equipped as you would expect from a Novotel. The check-in staff were friendly and helpful. They also sell bus tickets (€1.50 pp each way) and maps for the connecting service to central Venice. The direct bus service is only a short walk and has more frequencies through. There is a pool area with helpful lifeguard (gave my son some guidance on how to dive.) There is a Lidl close to the property to get some essentials. The rest of the immediate area is a bit strange and dark. We got a pizza from the Trip Advisor recommended place on our first night, but nothing else is open. But then again you are most probably staying here to visit Venice not the immediate neighbourhood! Unfortunately breakfast brings the hotel down. It is the worst breakfast I have had in a Novotel. Despite being peak holiday season, the times were restrictive and service was chaotic. Large queues and no table management. Staff seemed to keep their heads down and busy themselves rather than deal with the problem. Food was not replensihed and the eggs were inedible after being overcooked on all three days we were there. The hotel is great for a family visiting Venice but unless the breakfast is free (and even then I would be cautious) I would go room only. A shame.

Not sure how to begin. We stayed here after our flight from Florence was cancelled and we were bussed to Venice and this hotel by Lufthansa. Restaurant service and food for "dinner" was horrible. We got pasta in something like tomato soup out of a box, a filet of chicken that was burned/dry with soggy fries and some fruit for dessert. The only redeeming aspect was the wine on the table. Breakfast in the morning was nothing less than chaotic with dirty tables not cleared, a buffét not being refilled, uneateable scrambled eggs (when it finally arrived) and empty juice dispenser. The floor by the table was crawling with ants. We had a breakfast coupon, but the price was 14€ for this horrible meal! It was not possible to get a room without carpet and it did not look clean. Dirty bathroom. Beds uncomfortable and only one comforter. It took us three trips to reception to get a second one, ending with two double comforters in a narrow bed. Good thing I travel with a close friend. Pillows a were horrible. Very little sleep. AC only running for a short time, not cooling the room. Staff unfriendly and not helpful. Where is the pride in working in the service trade? Where is the pride in serving good food - we're still in Italy, are we not? Just stay away!

This was the best value hotel with a pool we found for a family room of 4 in August on the outskirts of venice. The hotel is what you would expect from a Novotel at this price. Reasonable rooms , slightly over priced restaurant and bar but the kids loved the pool. It is in a strange location and would not recommend for day trips to Venice unless your budget is limited. The location is just off a motorway and there is no place you can go for a walk in the evening. I tried the room service 3 times and got no answer. However as we were just flying back from Venice airport 10 km (No shuttle service) it provided what we needed in terms of final stop over.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. Services are very poor, restaurant charges 15 Euro for the breakfast with poor choices.I asked for a mint after eating their horrible breakfast, even hotel staff refuse to offer mint.
