Helpful front desk staff. Clean rooms. Good breakfast.

Big Kudos to Gianna, Elisa, Giacomo, and Emma - excellent, so kind, caring and very knowledgeable staff. Hope to see stay at Ai Pini again one day. My family had a great time and felt very comfortable in your presence. And they pronounce my name perfectly! Thank you.

All of the staff seemed to truly enjoy being there at the hotel also. They genuinely wanted to help make our stay as comfortable and cared for as possible and that they enjoyed doing so. It was a haven for us.

The hotel is located in Mestre about 25 minutes away from Venice - so, expect a daily bus ride to get to the tourist areas (bus #7E). 1.50 to board the bus, a cab will cost approximately 30 euros. The most pleasant experience about this hotel, without a doubt, was Gianna - she is a star! From the moment I walked through the doors, after traveling for 20 hours, she was warm and welcoming and it did not seem forced. She was very attentive to my needs. Unfortunately, I complained about the cold temperatures in the room for 3 nights. This was a huge problem and made the stay unpleasant. I also found several stink bugs (see pictures) lurking in the room. The restaurant experience was extremely uncomfortable. There was a woman who appeared to be apart of management who talked with all of the guests except for me (I was seated alone). Caterina and Gianna were extremely helpful and pleasant. Alessio is NOT patient and is quite rude. I dreaded interacting with him. I’ve traveled to several foreign countries alone. A warm and helpful hotel staff is vital in helping to feel comfortable and navigating your way around when you are alone. Overall, not the worst experience but certainly not the best. I would recommend this hotel if you would like to save an extra $400-500. However, I think it’s worth it to pay the extra cash to stay in a hotel in Venice and walk to your hotel as opposed to hopping on a crowded bus for 25 minutes at the end of a long adventurous day. That became tedious.

Very relaxing hotel. Lovely building. Exceptional staff. Wonderful breakfast and excellent restaurant for dinner.

I love the location of this hotel. It's not in the very busy and crowded Venice area, but only a 20 minute bus ride away. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is an amazing restaurant right around the corner, a gelato shop down the street and a bakery down the street. All very short walks away. I would absolutely stay again.

I don't like the review questions and especially the demand to fill out sections. Even more angered by the demand for more words

Nice hotel, conveniently located, clean, close to the bus stop. 20 min ride to Venice.

Hotel is located in Mestre right on the mainland. Bus stops by the front of the hotel and takes about 20 minutes to get into Venice. Very nice and thoughtful staff.

This hotel is not luxury but has very good service staff matching the best. Here are few examples. We reached the hotel by taxi with an unfriendly taxi driver charging us unusual high fee. The hotel staff helped us to contact the taxi company and got full refund for us. The staff assisted us in every way for touring the region, including information on various cities/towns and transportation. The hotel also has a nice restaurant for dining, which is convenient especially after tiresome day trips. The only shortcoming is its location, little too far away from the city center (about 1.5 mile) and train station (0.8 mile) making it difficult to walk after the dark (for safety reason).

the staff were extremely helpful, the rooms were spacious and very clean and the breakfast was excellent with a tremendous variety including delicious scrambled eggs which are not part of the breakfast at other hotels.

We enjoyed a great stay during our recent trip to Venice. Selected due to ratings and reviews and were not disappointed. Easy access to bus stop and island via bus #7. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast and rooms were fantastic. We would definitely stay there again.

the hotel is lovely, the breakfast is very good and the staff is extremely helpful with all needs for their guests. You can buy bus passes for 72 hours or less and that includes unlimited bus service ...even the boat bus. It is best to purchase that as the boat bus alone is 7 euros each way..we paid 32 euros for 72 hours. The buses are frequent and take you to central area in Venice. easy walk to tourist sights/train station/boat buses. The room was clean, comfortable. The laundry service was great. The staff was fluent in English and could easily answer any questions.

The desk clerk gave us detailed instructions on how to navigate Murano and Burano without a guide, and how to get to and from Venice proper easily. The hotel is on the mainland, but in a quiet spot with good and fast connections. We particularly enjoyed dinner on our last night. We ate in the quiet garden next to the owner's family. She treated us like one of the family, even helping to serve. She sincerely thanked us for coming and even met us at the desk the next morning. These touches really made the stay excellent.

This wonderful hotel, exceeded out expectations for a 4 star hotel! Not only was it a beautiful villa turned hotel, very clean, amazing rooms and outdoor seating and serving area, flowers everywhere, but the owners and staff treated us like family. Their breakfast was great, we would sit outside in the garden and be served cappuccino and cookies and relax after long days touring Venice. They had a beautiful restaurant in the hotel also, which also went out of their way to just make us a sandwich which was all we wanted when they were in the midst of a grand dinner event. We chose this hotel for our 3 night pre cruise out of Venice. It was in the Mestre area which is actually on the mainland about 20 minutes to the island of Venice and its train station and Vaporetto/water bus system. The Mestre bus system is right in from of the hotel so it took us everywhere quickly and easily to the island of Venice and surrounding islands of Murano. The staff had advised us of the availability of buying these daily passes for this bus and Vaporetto which was unlimited access. We would advise anyone to take advantage of this right at their hotel desk. Much easier that buying them at the docks. The only negative thing we could say about this place was that we had to leave this wonderful villa for our cruise. We could say a lot more but will leave you with this,..... it was Bello!!

Stayed in the hotel to make connection to flight from cruise that disembarked the previous day. Rooms are large & lovely - bathrooms just as beautiful as pix & equipped w/ good quality hair dryer. Gardens are beautiful & peaceful. Hotel staff very friendly & went out of their way to assist us w/ any need. Ate dinner under an umbrella in the garden & enjoyed food a great deal! They make their own pasta on the premises & spice dishes w/ herbs grown in garden. Only drawback is it's not w/in easy walking distance to town of Mestre or Venice - need to use taxis or public transport (stops close by). With that in mind I would highly recommend hotel.

Employees very helpful. We did not know we Needed to leave the room card in the slot on the inside to keep the lights working( then when you leave there is no chance to leave the lights on because you will have the room card. They were quick to solve our dilemma. The restaurant was very good. It was a very short walk to the bus stop take the bus to downtown Venice and back.Downside it cost 45 euros on cab each way to and from airport.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly. Bus was right in front of the hotel and it was easy to reach the island of Venice from here. WE were here for Carnivale and the city was crowded so it was nice to be able to stay in a quiet hotel. Highly recommend.
