After arriving after a long overnight international flight, we went to take a nap in the room and after sleeping for an hour the air-conditioning kicked on causing a very loud clicking sound just over the bed like a plane card in the spokes of a bicycle wheel. I went to the front desk to let them know there was an issue and they had no solution for me other than to turn off the air-conditioning to our room. So we stayed the night with no air-conditioning.

Beautiful hotel right in the heart of Venice, yet also quiet. So many restaurants are close by and it is convenient for getting around easily. The rooms were lovely, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Great variety at breakfast, a proper continental breakfast with delicious coffee! We had a fantastic stay.

Very good stay

Overall the stay was very good. All the staff was wonderful. Wish the mattress was softer and could fully close the window shades. Breakfast delightful with beautiful ripe peaches. The location was nice for us. Lots of foot and boat traffic outside. Not too far to walk to San Marco and the north side boat dock. A bit further for the southwest areas.

Great Service

The staff was very accommodating helping us arrange private water taxi so that we could avoid dragging luggage through Venice. It is in a great location with easy access to all tourist spots. Also recommended great restaurant! Highly recommend!

What a beautiful hotel! Will return. Impeccable staff, wonderful breakfast. Standout hotel among three others we stayed at in Italy. Wonderful. Location, location, location! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The only negative to this hotel is that there is not elevator, therefor if you and your family are coming with luggage be ready to carry it to the second floor where the reception is located. There is no one available at the entrance to help you.
